Empire state!
Empire State
2013-03-14
Empire state, a restaurant that serves western cuisine! They have all the chicken chop, pastas, burgers and many more! I went there twice and each time, their serving really scares me. Their portion is so huge! Their pastas are served in a big plate and if you're a small eater, it's best if you share it with another person. Apart from their big portion, it taste really good too. This is the house burger and it is huge as well. Like normal burgers, it comes with fries. So I guarantee, it's a really fulfilling meal! Their beef is really good too. It does not have the strong beef smell like some places have. …Read More

Switch!
Switch
2013-03-14
Switch is one of the subsidiary of Timbre and of course, their menu is the same. The only difference is the bands and it is air conditioned! Not like the normal timbre which is open spaced. So if you're looking for a place to chill and hang out with your friends and you want somewhere cooling and comfy, try switch! Apart from alcohol, they have main courses such as pizzas and pastas. Their must have is the duck pizza! Also, if you want to have some beer, erdinger is a good choice. It is smooth and taste good, not as bitter like some other beers. They also have other alcohol such as martini, whiskey and many more! So do try our this place for a good night-out with your friends! …Read More

2013-03-14
Swee choon is one of the restaurant that serves nice dim sum in singapore! They have a wide variety of dim sum to choose from! From siew mai to baos and all! They even have main dishes like hor fun. Their must have is the custard bun, fried mee sua and glutinous rice! Their fried mee sua is very unique and not many places have it. It is crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. It is very fragrant! And their luo mai gai, cooked till the rice is soft and chewy and not forgetting the chicken and the mushroom that enhances the taste of the rice! Their custard bun is a must have! It's sweet with a little saltiness. If you leave the shop without trying it, you will regret it!…Read More

Honeymoon, dessert!
Honeymoon Dessert
2013-03-14
Honeymoon, so sweet! Honeymoon is actually a dessert shop where they serve a wide array of desserts! You can eat till you drop because they taste so good! There are only a few outlets in Singapore, so do look out for it and drop by to satisfy your sweet tooth!Milk custard with almond! The milk custard is very smooth and it has a very strong milk taste but not too overpowering. With a little bit of almond in every mouth, it enhances the taste of it! The green tea ice cream and herbal jelly is the best out of this! The green tea is so fragrant that you crave for more with every mouth! Try it for yourself!…Read More

Dim sum buffet
Swatow Seafood Restaurant
2013-03-14
Swatow has dim sum buffet everyday between 3-5pm. It is always very crowded, therefore, it is best to make reservation first before patronising. It is a push cart style, like the hong kong style. So you just have to stop the person and order what you want from the waiter's push cart. This is one of the best dish! Glutinous rice wrapped with lotus leaf! It smells so nice that you can taste it before even eating it. And it is cooked to the right texture, soft and chewy and not hard! It has chicken meat, dried prawns and others inside. So do look out for it!Sesame paste bun is very unique and taste really good too! And of course, a must have is the custard bun! It is custard with salted egg and it taste so good that you can eat like 10 at one shot! It is a MUST HAVE!And they do have shark-fin soup as well!Overall, GOOD!…Read More

Blackball
BlackBall
2013-03-14
Blackball is a dessert shop that is by zhang yao dong, a singaporean actor. Their main thing is the herbal jelly as well as all the chewy pearls, taro balls and many others. There are 3 kinds of servings, hot, cold or icy. My favorite is the herbal jelly and the taro balls. The herbal jelly has this slight tinge of liang cha taste and it's so smooth that it just slides down your throat! It is a must have! And their taro balls are so chewy that you can't stop chewing! And they taste so good as well! It is a must have for a dessert after your meal, provided you have space for them! There is a new outlet at buona vista, star vista! Go try it! …Read More

Xin wang hong kong cafe!
Xin Wang Hong Kong Café
2013-03-14
Xin wang hong kong cafe serves hong kong delights as well as western delights. There are many types of main courses, sides, drinks and desserts to choose from. They serve hong kong noodles, claypot rice and many others. Also, their dim sums, toasts are delicious! Hong kong style milk tea, yuan yang are served in metal cups! How cool is that! This is chicken baked rice. I always order this when I patronise the restaurant. The cheese is melted to the right texture and the chicken is seasoned and grilled to perfection! It is just so tasty!Mango snow ice, a must have! It is so gigantic that you can't finish it all by yourself. So do share it with at least 1 friend!…Read More

So cheap!
Ya Kun Kaya Toast
2013-03-14
What about breakfast before school starts?! Ya kun is the best breakfast ever. Their eggs are half-cooked to perfection. Not too over or under cooked. And best of all, it is cheaper than the outlets in shopping malls or anywhere else. And it is opened till late evening. The toast is also toasted till it's crispy! It taste especially good when dipped with the eggs, mixed with a few drops of dark soya sauce! So, go for it if you're craving for some eggs and toast!…Read More

Momoji Japanese Buffet
Momiji Japanese Buffet Restaurant
2013-03-14
There is a wide variety of sushi, sashimi and etc to choose from. Not withstanding the fact that they tasted not bad too! Paper soup where there are mushroom, vegetables and you can even add in sashimi to let it cook! Nice and healthy! Soup base is good too, not tasteless like some other place would serve.Big big scallop that is worth the try! It has cheese and some sauce toasted on top too and it is fresh, most importantly.Desserts, who doesn't love them for a buffet?! There are so many cakes, ice cream and even chocolates to choose from. So remember to leave room for desserts!Chocolate fondue! Not many buffet places have this. So take a few fruits and start indulging in it! Nice and sweet! Overall a satisfactory meal!…Read More

One of the best restaurant where Korean and Japanese Cuisine are served and best part, the free flow of ice cream and drinks! It's a nice place to chill with your family and friends.
