Needed a coffee after our meal, we walked into Jamaica Blue. This is the first time I am trying their coffee and I definitely want to visit again to try the other flavours. I ordered a Chai Latte. It was pretty big piece of salmon that was served to me with steamed vegetables and mashed potatoes. Big portion is always expected when you are at hard rock cafe. So take note that it can be good to share. The grilled side of the salmon is soft and well marinated. The grilled taste was there and it was very nice. Underneath the grilled side, the salmon skin was crispy and good too. If you like salmon, this dish is highly recommended. After dinner, my friend and I decided to have tea and small dessert at TWG. I ordered a chocolate peppermint tea. I love that the chocolate smell was very strong when it was served. being a chocolate fan, the aroma was very pleasing. Sipping into the tea, the peppermint took over my palate and was very soothing to my throat and stomach. We ordered a chocolate macaroon and caramel to taste. i was craving for bryani and settled into this coffee shop in kembangan. We had to wait for a while before the chicken bryani was finally served to me. It was well worth the wait. The chicken and curry were really tasty. The rice was fragrant and it was just very satisfying to have the curry, chicken and rice altogether. we also ordered an egg prata. My friend brought me to this outlet claiming that they soya milk here is really good. When we were there, there was a little queue. Business was brisk. I waited for a short while and ordered a warm cup of soya milk with Portuguese egg tart. The warm soya milk was very comforting. The sweetness in it was just nice. I loved the taste. Christmas is near. Received a log cake from pies & coffee. It looks very pretty and got many of us into the festive mood. The cake was chocolate flavour. I loved that it was very rich and smooth. First started with wild mushroom soup. It was a very comforting bowl of wild mushroom soup. Smooth, tasty and super yummy, topped with truffle oil. For mains, I had the crab pasta. Love this tomato based pasta very much. It's fresh and tasty. For dessert it was a little of a surprise. We were not allowed to choose and was just served with the chef's creation for the day. It was a colleague's farewell and we selected The Rice Table for an affordable buffet lunch. It's only $17.90 nett. We tried almost everything on selection and they were all good. I will recommend the following. They were my preferred ones from the lunch.1) Beef RendangThe beef is so tender and soft that it melts in your mouth. The rendang was super tasty and not overly spicy. 2) Tauhu TelorThis one was almost everyone's favourite. It's just so magical. A simple dish of tofu and egg combined. Was back at this market to have their carrot cake, 2 doors down the very awesome carrot cake was another competitor called seng kee. I decided to try and compare. Service was pretty quick. They even bring it to you. For a plate of $2 carrot cake, it's not bad service at all. I dug into it excitedly. Their carrot cake has lesser eggs and was firmer in terms of texture.
