Crystal Jade Shanghai Restaurant
2013-01-09
One of the main reason why I like Crystal Jade is because of its chilli. I can literally eat the chilli first without anything while waiting for the food to come. Right amount of spiciness, somewhat crispy to me. The salted peanuts which they serve when you enter the restaurant, is very tasty. I ordered steam siew mai and a glass of orange juice, both were good. Thumbs up!…Read More

Old Chang Kee

The curry puff's are so tasty and big, worthwhile for tea-time. The aromatic and delectably moist curried potato filling boasts the perfect balance of spices, and is studded with a generous chunk of chicken and wedge of hard boiled egg. Best eaten fresh and piping hot from the stall, Old Chang Kee curry puffs somehow manages to remain tasty and crispy even when eaten cold.…Read More

I just order rice then put a few dishes, like tahu tempeh, fried fish and chicken gravy with alot of sambal and anchovies. So Delicious and yummy. For desserts, i ordered ondeh-ondeh and some pineapple tarts. Excellent place to have a quick lunch and take-away.…Read More

Dim sum
Royal China
2013-01-09
Royal China Dim Sum is definitely one of the best Dim Sum places in Singapore. The prices are rather affordable as well; around $20 per person depending on how much you eat. The custard bun is very tasty and fluffy. The desserts are also very tasty, especially the egg tarts. The pan fried carrot cake is really very crispy, can't stop eating away. Highly recommended.…Read More

LingZhi Vegetarian Restaurant

This place serves buffet and ala cart. Very tasty the Lotus paste bun and rojak from the buffet. The steamboat we put the tom yam stock and boil it, slowly adding the green fresh vegetables, corn, and fungus mushroom. They also have yellow mee noodles and dumplings, tofu, tapioca. Its very worth the price. Highly Recommended, all their foods do not contain onion or garlic.…Read More

Vietnamese Lunch
Le Viet Cafe & Restaurant
2013-01-09
For the rolls, the deep fried spring rolls as being really deep fried, so the oil definitely added positively to the taste.Another tasty treat was the sugar cane prawns - a traditional Vietnamese dish and it was well executed here, with tasty and crunchy prawns that made me yearn for more.Three dishes worth trying are the silky smooth braised tofu, baby clams and the fried rice.Desserts - I like the glutinous rice with mango.…Read More

I ordered the cheesy french toast and a cup of tea, it comes as a set with boil eggs. I also tried the ice-cream toast, it is very delicious you can feel the ice-cream melting into your mouth. Nowadays they are selling local delights also. Example: mee rebus, meesiam, Laksa, all of it is very yummy. The place is also very clean and spacious. Highly recommended. Thumbs up.…Read More

Boon Tong Kee

Apart from the smooth, tender and juicy chicken, it is Boon Tong Kee's flavourful chicken rice that has keep us going back for more. We would usually also order a few dishes to go along with the chicken and the servers are generally very friendly and helpful. Really love their chicken meat its really tender and juicy. The rice is also very fragrant. Highly recommended. …Read More

Häagen-Dazs

Most people know what the standard haagen daaz fare is - delicious ice cream at a premium. We tried a few flavours; one of the more memorable flavours was the tiramisu. However, I love chocolate flavour.I find the staff at his branch very friendly. Waffles also i ordered, it was very tasty. After eating sweet things, need to drink a bottle of water. Price is reasonable.…Read More

For buffet, They have seafood fried rice, spicy clams, sambal stingray, fried breaded fish, chicken and tasty spicy crabs for the cooked section. Love the crabs the most, extremely delicious! The fried breaded fish was nice too.. it has this crispy taste. They have two types of soup. Some ginseng chicken and another, corn soup. I think both tasted equally nice. They only have two types of ice cream with fruits. Service was good.…Read More

Indulge At Park

Sat between the interior of the restaurant and the lounge opposite. Ambience wise was good as live music from lounge accompanied the dinner, to create the mood.First we started eating the cold seafood section. The salmon sashimi and the cold poached prawns was very delicious. There were oysters also, but i did not try.At the Japanese section. There was sushi & maki and soba noodles. The only comment I have is, you can avoid this section and save your stomach space for other food. The salad section beside it was better. Tried many kinds of salads and the mushroom salad was the best, even though I love mushrooms. The other salads were ok, not too bad. The 2 kinds of hams were tasty.Onto the hot food, there was roasted beef and chicken, baked whole salmon in tomato sauce, vegetable fritter, fried pappadum & belinjo crackers, vegetable curry, green vegetable, tofu, lamb chop and a potato cheese gratin. The live station that night was mee siam. Dishes that i ate second serving were the lamb chop and the potato cheese gratin. The roast chicken was skinless, leaving only all the dry breast meat on the tray.Desserts wise, it consisted of durian pengat, ice cream, chocolate fountain and fresh fruits. There were 2 flavours for the egg tarts, original & kaya. You can’t really taste the difference between the two but still quite nice. Durian pengat and a chocolate cake was also nice. The chocolate was creamy and nice as usual but just 2 rounds would be enough if you do not want to end up vomiting. The buffet includes soft drinks Pepsi, MUG root beer and Mirinda grape.…Read More

roti prata
Jalan Kayu Prata Café
2013-01-08
This place is always very crowded, you have to wait and extremely long time to purchase a set of prata with the fish curry gravy. When you eat it hot hot on the spot, its more tasty. If you pack it up, the prata gets squash into the brown packing paper and becomes hard in texture by the time you bring it back home. This place is recommended for supper time & early morning breakfast.…Read More

Swensen's
2013-01-07
I went to Swensen's airport at around 5pm on Christmas day, it was quite crowded. ordered Hawaiian Pizza, Butterfly Shrimps, Rodeo Wings, Fries & Dips, Hazelnut ice-cream, apple juice, Spice & Chic. They took quite some time to bring the order, the food at this outlet is tasty. but the waiters are too slow in taking orders & delivering it to the table. Now they have also asked us to pay at the Counter Self-service, which makes the counter very packed all the time, difficult for people to walk pass. …Read More

Thanying Restaurant

I have eaten family lunches here many times, the food is awesome. We ordered the Tom Yam Soup, stir fry seafood with thai basil and peppercorn, chicken green curry, pineapple fried rice, phad thai, kang kong with bean sauce and finally mango sticky rice for dessert. All of the dishes are tasty. The service staffs are always prompt and friendly. The Tom Yam soup was good too but for $10 per bowl for each person is very expensive.…Read More
