had the set lunch. Food quality was great - above average than those normal some "cant make it in the food dept" hipster cafes around . Tried the beef lasagne, mushroom soup and had a lemon grass drink. items were presented well and what was really nice was the lemon grass drink. had all the right levels of sweetness and even included one whole pounded lemon grass for that flavour. something like a nice posh cocktail in a way. price was about $16 nett which is value.so if you are around Balestier, this is definitely the cafe to visit. …Read More

The decor is definitely one of its kind. In small Singapore, seldom u would be able to see such a lofty cafe space. Having said that, big places are not easy to find. it has a nice european-ish industrial ish feel. urban . and music aint bad.Thought it would be relaxing and quiet but it was pretty packed and noisy. Perhaps it was peak timing.For someone not familar with this north side of Spore (balestier), it may be a night mare to find it if u are talking public transport like bus or mrt.the bike thing doesnt interest most of the cafe goers i would think....placing bikes on the table...may make one wonder are the wheels clean....cause u are eating just next to it.Food - its decent enough. nice fries and coffee. didnt have a chance to try the desserts.Expect to pay at least $20/pax for main and a drink…Read More
