This is the first time i visited the place, it is not hard to find and the restaurant is quite cozy. I'm not good with woods so i included lots of pic, a picture say a thousand word so enjoy the picture

This toufu is very silky, the taste is great, if you want something healthy, this is for you.

This salad is refreshing and full of stuff good for the skin, yum yum

The fish is super fresh , yum yum

The chicken wing, out of all the dishes, this dish was a bit disappointing becuase i find the meat a bit too dry. if it more tender it would be perfect

Shabu Shabu my favourite item for the night, it's full of collogen and it taste so nice, This item is designed for 2-3 pax but to me i can finish everything on my own

Another fish, this time it's the Mackerel, this fish is also super fresh, you almost taste the sea on it due to it's freshness

The last item is the mochi, the brown sauce is just nice not too sweet, the perfect item to end the dinner

after finishing a day trip at sentosa , desire to feeling dim sum for tea time , so we decided to eat at Bosses located at Vivocity

The restaurant's deco is black , it was spacious and cosy to dine in

we ordered xiao long bao , siew mai, har gow , snow cha siew bao etc

l liked the xiao long bao with it's skin thin and filling was well marinated and juicy , the snow cha siew bao is crispy on the outer part and cha siew is juicy and tender .As for the siew mai there is a prawn on top , where you can taste tenderness and freshness of prawn and the skin of siew mai is soft

Agreed my friend’s decision, I joined the short queue at PappaRich for our lunch. Very budgeted way to spend here, the concept was quite similar with Oldtown Coffee. Selling Malaysian Cuisine basically, Menu was extensive.
Nasi Lemak with Curry Chicken

Nasi Lemak with Curry Chicken

Nice presentation, it looked neat and tempting. My favourite thickly spicy-gravy chicken, the flesh was tender without being overcooked. Rice wise, it was too mushy for me yet with nicely coconut milk fragrance. Hard-boiled egg accompanied along, cucumber slices and some fried peanuts, the portion was definitely more than enough. Common sense, all their items are subject to 10% service charges and 7% GST.

Huge and delicious ji pa!  Smile Dec 18, 2013

Categories : Taiwanese

I love the hao da da ji pa ever since i tried in it taiwan. In singapore it is slightly more expensive.

I ordered a set meal which consists of iced tea, fries ( but i requested to change to sweet potato with an additional charges of 30cents) and the original flavor of hao da da ji pa. I paid $7.30 and i find it rather expensive for the portion.

The ji pa is really huge and nice. the chilli powder makes it taste even better. the skin is very crispy and meat is tender. however upon finishing there is alot of bones at the bottom which makes it difficult to eat. Also they do not provide cutting service. The portion of the sweet potato is really little . Taste wise it is good though. iced tea is average.

In future i might just buy the ji pa as ale carte as its not really worth while to pay more for that little amount of sweet potato.

Empire State! Smile Dec 18, 2013

Empire State used to have an outlet at Iluma (before it changed its name to Bugis+), and I remembered that I had tried the best buffalo wings I've ever had in my life there. I never got to have better buffalo wings after that, not even at other Empire State outlets now. So ever since then, I've been hoping that the same chef would cook whenever I visit, but probably not since that's like a few years ago.

So my buddy and I love to order 2 different dishes to share, we hardly have our main dish to ourselves. The Empire State BBQ Ribs were excellent for sharing considering its huge portion, the ribs were tender and succulent whereby it was simply effortless to separate the meat from the bone! The seasoned BBQ sauce was also very yummy and enough to dip the fries with it. The meslun salad was also refreshing.

The Grilled Salmon was amazing as well, paired with meslun salad and mashed potato. The sauce that came with it was awesome, too bad I'm not sure what is it. The salmon was perfectly grilled such that it's neither under nor overcooked, keeping its moist and firmness well, it was also fresh without any fish taste.

Overall, I see myself returning soon for the other delicious looking items on its menu.
