在麥士維熟食中心內，除有美食，當然少不了賣飲品的檔子，坐下就在不遠處，就看到848 Sugar Cane & Fruit Juice，自不然買點冰涼的飲料來降降溫。新加坡沒有多少天然資源，很多物資都是由馬來西亞運來，那邊的物價又相對平，所以，造類鮮榨即做的生果飲品都十分抵飲。我們選了蘋果百果香汁及榴槤牛奶，太太的蘋果百果香汁，百果香即是我們稱之為熱情果，百果香酸酸咪，加上蘋果的甜，喝下感覺非常清爽，夏天飲十分好；而我的杯榴槤牛奶，十分大杯，有近1成公份量，冰凍而口感滑，榴槤味十足，確是貨真價實，無得彈！

Chicken rice is one of the most popular dish in Singapore and you can find this dish literally everywhere. The technique of finding a reputable stall is as easy as tracking down the longest queue, and my journey led me to the stall-front of Yishun 925 Chicken Rice.

HALF CHICKEN (12.00)
Skillfully deboned, chopped and dressed in an emulsion of light soy-sauce and sesame oil, the glistening steamed chicken is rested on a bed of sliced cucumber, served with a portion of acar on the side.

As I ordered the half chicken, instead of the regular plate of chicken rice (3.00/4.00), there was a mix of both dark meat and white meat.
The boneless meat has a silky smooth appearance with a firm and springy texture. Served at a cold temperature, the flesh was juicy and succulent. Some people remove it, but I can't miss out on the layer of slippery soft skin that literally falls apart in your mouth. Definitely one of the best place to have Chicken Rice.

1933 is a cafe which is opened by BreadTalk. To most, it feels like an atas version of ToastBox. The cafe offers local cuisine, priced reasonable, considering the high class shopping mall.Tea Set ($10.90++)
The cafe offers a reasonable priced tea set during the afternoon. It is pandan chiffon cake served with a choice of tea or coffee. As the coffee machine was down, the choices were limited to mostly tea.Gula Melaka Pandan Chiffon 香兰椰糖蛋糕 ($8.90)
Childhood favourite soft pandan chiffon is baked with bits of palm sugar for that extra Nyonya flavour and served with delightful Gula Melaka syrup.
Interesting chiffon cake with a layer of Gula Melaka filling in it. If not enough, there's a serving of rich Gula Melaka syrup to dip with. The cake was light and fluffy. Although it looked like there was lots of cream with dessicated coconut on top of the cake, I felt that it gave the cake a kind of moist feel.Served with Green Mango Peach fruit tea 有机芒果桃味茶 ($8)
The tea was light and fruity in taste.

Overall the tea set was enjoyable. The service was great with the staff refilling the tea without being asked to.
