I would be stupid to not know that the $2 Mc Chicken is gone but compared to the nearby eateries, there really isn’t anything more worthwhile and convenient. It is so close to the beach, many people come here to cool off after a warm day. The place is quite spacious and it definitely beats walking all the way to harbourfront centre. Rather messy burger I got but it tastes fine. The chick...
Great food and atmosphere here (inside) The place may look abit run down on the outside but~ hey... they serve great food... The chili crab here is AWESOME~! The freshness of the crab plus the awesome sauce just made it worth the trip there~ Nothing beats eating it yourself~ so go on down to give it a try~! I'm sure it will be worth while ;) Though the fried mantou...
This hokkien mee is served pretty wet with lots of the stock soup. I thought the level of wetness is just right. The stock is sweet which makes the noodle delicious. The ingredients in the noodle consists of prawns and squid. The seafood are fresh and sweet. This is a delicious meal but I find the serving a little small.

The Dim Sum here is really nice and afforable and freshly steamed on the spot upon order therefore we have to wait about 10 mintues but the wait is worth it as the har kows are nicely steam and not soggy like those oversteamed. Tthe har kow which comes in a bamboo container and 3 pieces at $2.40.The har kow skin is wrapped just nice, not too thick or thin and inside is a big prawn and v...
I have always see this 'face' logo of this restaurant whenever I go for my grocery shopping at NTUC. The restaurant was tuck edaway in this multi storey car at Marine Parade. And I never expected this place to be so big. It seem to be popular for people to hold weddings and one month celebrations as there was a board of events display at the entrance. I like the idea where push cart a...
Ordered a simple set meal as I did not want to use my hands to eat the chicken wing. The nuggets were ok, though the skin was not crispy. The hot dog and fries were both very dry. The fries tasted horrible with it being cold and not a slight bit of crispiness at all. The rice was fragrant and the chilli paste was sweet but not spicy.
We chose to eat early and not have to struggle with reservations on a Friday night. Especially since we had been turned away once. The expectation hanging over the place was inevitable. We sat down to efficient and professional service from who we guessed is probably the lady owner. If not, they probably have some great incentive scheme going for their employees. Iced water was poured...
beef was tender and mushrooms crunchy and chewy! a delight to have with the sweet terriyaki sauce! however, as you can tell from the picture, beef was a little too bloody for my liking. i do enjoy my beef slightly medium done in steaks, but for a dish that is supposed to be barbecued, the beef was too raw for me to accept.

The blue nonya kueh consists of two layers. One layer was the glutinous rice that has a light blue colour and it was topped with a generous layer of the grated coconut that has been cooked in coconut sugar. The colour glutinous rice taste slightly saltish but the sweetness of the grated coconut create a good balance between the two distinct flavours. As for the yellow kueh,it also have nine ...

Char Siew Bao of Tanjong Rhu, sometimes known as the char siew bao from Kampung Arang. This is definitely (in my humble opinion), one of Singapore's best Char Siew Bao and it's a hidden gem, tucked away in an old housing estate in Singapore. During lunch time, there would be a queue for buying their Tim Sum, especially their Char Siew Bao ! Introducing Chin Sin ...

Singapura Restaurant is really one of those old school Chinese restaurants which look like it was stuck back in the 90s. The food is also similarly traditional, in fact this was the restaurant that supposedly introduced cold crabs to Singapore! Their clientele is also pretty famous, one can see photos of Fann Wong and Christopher Lee, and even a recent one of SM Goh! The foo...
