This store sells kway chap and pig's organ soup, but what I like best is their Yam Rice, its full of old time favor. You can find in the rice is typically large slice of yam, mushroom, pork fat and dry shrimp. Ingredients one will find in a dumpling. Whenever I decided to order the pig's organ soup, if the yam rice is not ready. I would rather not go ahead with the order. Pig's organ ...

Who’s the Ramen Champion in your heart? It was a yummy mid-week for me with an exclusive Blogger Food Tasting session at Ramen Champion Bugis+. For those who have yet been to Ramen Champion, it’s actually like a Japanese version of Marché restaurant, which brings several different famous Japanese ramen brands together to satisfy the cravings of ramen lovers! I am o...

I found out about Platypus Kitchen only after their second branch at Bugis Junction was opened. I suppose Platypus Kitchen is not new to everyone as most working at Raffles Place would have already known about their first store at Clifford Centre, as it always garners long queues during lunch hour! Platypus Kitchen prides itself in having Singapore’s widest selection of fres...

It was not easy to decide what to order because there were so many yummy options! Eventually, we ordered a Chocolate Fudge with Marshmallows ($8.50) to share. The presentation of the waffle look so attractive we could not wait to dig in! It is alfresco seating at Haato & Co and the wind kept the chocolate sauce that we were supposed to drizzle on the waffle flying. Nevertheles...

Thinking of what to eat for lunch in Chinatown can be tough. There’s way too many choices. Walked pass Luk Yu at times but didn’t get to visit this place. While thinking of what to eat, I read some reviews and their pictures looks nice. So, I decided to try with a friend who is meeting me for lunch before her maternity leave ends. Luckily there isn’t any crowd or queue, or was i...

Every year, more or less, I will celebrate National Day with family. Our favourite fireworks spot is none others than Marina Bay Sands - Best view for fireworks with no obstruction! After viewing the spectacular NDP's fireworks display, I suggest to find a place for bites and drinks, so decided on High Society. Not to mention, its also my maiden visit.High Society really ...

Heard some of my friends saying that this stall satay is very nice. Yesterday, I happened to visit it when I was there with some friends, so ordered some chicken satay from this stall. Unfortunately, it was not as what I expected like what my friends was saying. I personally feel that the chicken satay itself very bland and not much taste, and must be paired with a lot of satay sauce which got...

This is my second time dining in at Itacho Sushi. My friend and I reached the restaurant at around 9pm and this was when one of the promotions started. We ordered 24 pieces of sushi at $0.80 each and we were entitled to 2 free drinks (12 pieces of sushi for 1 free drink). The sushi were really fresh and they were of good quality. The udon in tomato soup base is nice too. It was quite wo...

I remember having to go straight to any Jollibee branch right after I land during vacation in the Philippines. I think it’s one of the things that will tickle every stimulus in your body and convince you that you’re really in the Philippines. The smell, the scene and of course, the taste. The Filipino taste. And now, after long years of waiting (way longer for most OFW here), J...
