About 20% alcohol, sweet and refreshing, half bottle of Soju is used. Imagine if everyone will to YUM SENG with this pinea...
The rising popularity of thai cuisines in Singapore is evident with the influx of anything thai into the local food scene, ranging from thai milk tea joints, thai shibuya toast, and in recent years Thai Mookata/steamboat. Many restaurants and even food centres offering Thai Mookata has popped up, leaving thai food lovers with a plethora of choices.I had the chance to try Thai Mookata...
Knowing that Vietnamese cuisine has increased momentum in Singapore especially to youngsters and family, Pho Street decided to open its 2 outlets at Westgate and Bedok Mall with an emphasis on the healthy, yet tasty nature of Vietnamese cuisine to attract the crowd. I'm so privileged to be invited by them to try on their new menu. On their extensive menu, you can get to see their s...
The tau sar piah at this shop is the BEST!! Always freshly baked and hot when you buy it. Buttery fragrant crust and both the salted and sweet versions are good. Guarantee chop and you won't regret it. It even taste good when it turns cold. Always a happy customer whenever i am here!
In Chinatown Food Street there is never a lack of food choices...except vegetarian. So Ci Yan Vegetarian is to my rescue! Pretty easy to find as it is on Smith Street near the South Bridge Road end, and got a little monk figure at the door. Needless to say the place is of Buddhist background as evidenced by the decor, but is open to all walks and religions. The m...

Situated at Orchard Central. The shop is really not hard to find. They often set lunches which is very convienent for excutives like us. They used brown rice instead of white so is more healthy. Thick pieces of salmon makes it more value for money. Comes with a bowl of soup and drink.

It has been a while since my last OpenRice tasting. This time round is at CATO , the modern Asian restaurant and bar located just opposite the Sri Mariamman Temple. CATO offers an extensive list of craft beers, spirits and quirky tapas or bar bites. The 4 months old (opened on July 2015) is well-known with its craft beers but we are here to try their food for this sessio...
First we had the Minced meat and meatball porridge. The fragrance and peppery taste of the porridge hit my taste buds. The white peppercorns from Sarawak has been fried before being made into a soup which is used for the porridge. It is then cooked in a high-pressure pot .Great tasty porridge coupled with chewy meatballs. However due to the fiery taste, the porridge is not for children. ...

Visit http://freshffm.blogspot.sg/2015/10/tonkotsu-king-jewel-in-king-keisukes.html for our detailed review with photos! Like a true traditional ramen shop, Tonkotsu King does not have many options. Essentially, what a customer has control over is the saltiness and oiliness of the pork-based soup, with an additional option of choosing various sauces (black or red) to add ...

Halloween has crept up on us once again and my post today is to show you where to have a "horror-ween" good time. Halloween is not widely celebrated in Singapore, in fact this year there's only the Halloween Horror Nights 5 that is happening. (I miss Sentosa Spooktacular) So you can imagine the crowds and queues there. Alternatively, one could actually celebrate Hallowe...
