For full reviews and photo visit www.sgfoodonfoot.com uff is located on the second floor on the same stretch of shophouses with Sophie Bakery but a couple of door steps away. Kimberley knows about this place because she bought her boyfriend's birthday cake from Truffs but back then it was only a takeaway kiosk. The tau sar piah at this shop is the BEST!! Always freshly baked and hot when you buy it. Buttery fragrant crust and both the salted and sweet versions are good. Guarantee chop and you won't regret it. It even taste good when it turns cold. Always a happy customer whenever i am here!

This is princessmic living in Buona Vista. I am a Regional IT manager, work in Somerset. I like to hang out in Central, North, West. Japanese, Cantonese/Hong Kong, Chinese, Korean are my favorite cuisines. I also love Hawker Centre, Restaurant and Zi Char, Dim Sum, Steamboat/Hot Pot.

Situated at Orchard Central. The shop is really not hard to find. They often set lunches which is very convienent for excutives like us. They used brown rice instead of white so is more healthy. Thick pieces of salmon makes it more value for money. Comes with a bowl of soup and drink.

Sometimes, I come across something so good, that every bite felt soul shining and that I momentarily lose myself in my food. Lunch at Sumiya Charcoal Grill Izakaya @ Orchard Central is just that and perhaps abit more. Hidden in a little loft at Orchard Central, this gem of a restaurant is one of Orchard’s best kept secret that I almost didn’t feel like sharing.Sumiya is offer...

Do.Main Bakery, a french bakery by Chef Frederick Deshayes who was the former Head of Pastry in Sunrice Globalchef Academy. The first dish was the Charcuterie platter which consisted of duck n pistachio pate, pork rillette & kurobuta ham. Sourdough bread was provided to complete the whole dish. Liked the pork rillette and ham for its moistness and tenderness. The pate was ...

My Little Tapas Bar is actually a sister outlet of My Little Spanish Place, a spanish restaurant at bukit timah area.  Their philosophy is based on the Spanish saying, "Mi Casa es Su Casa", which means "My House is Your House". The first Spanish restaurant to be helmed by two chefs with strong Spanish heritage – Maria Sevillano from Salamanca, Spain and Edw...

Thanks to the great folks at Faber Peak Singapore, I won $100 Faber Peak dining voucher in their recent Facebook Valentine's Day contest! A brief background - Located at the top of the hill at Mount Faber, the premise was given a complete make over and transformed into a bright and colorful F&B joint. Spuds & Aprons (what a unique name!) brands itself...

My last post on this stall is so long ago! I recently frequented this stall again and prices have increased. The pastry now costs $2 from $1.30 on my last review. Although it is much pricier now, I will still buy it since it is not often that I will be around this area. The size of the pastry remains the same and the taste is still as good as I have remembered. The filling of slightly s...

Yum Cha has become pretty much an integral part of leisure. Few activities come close to matching the relaxation and enjoyment supping over good dim sum and hot tea over a lazy morning/afternoon. My quest to find delicious dim sum (with the added criteria of not breaking the bank) brought be to Shi Wei Xian Hong Kong Dim Sum. A stall nestled within a coffee shop in the qui...

When I first stepped into La Marelle, I thought a Candy Crush bomb exploded in it. Located on the second floor of a shophouse at Bagdhad Street (near Arab St), the bright airy cafe was adorned with colourful walls decorated with cloud and raindrops motifs, flowery paper lanterns, whimsical decorations and merchandise for sale. I went to La Marelle twice actually. Many ramen joints have been sprouting around the island. Most of them being in town, I was especially happy that a reputable ramen joint opened near my place of residence.  Opened by the Breadtalk Group, which opened the Ramenplay chain of ramen restaurants, I was quite confident that Sanpoutei wouldn't disappoint. Bouyed by the fact that a queue is often seen at Sanpoutei, I knew...

There were 3 levels of spiciness to choose from - Red, black and white. I tried the Black Spicy Ramen which was a peppery and spicy mix for broth. The noodles were tangy and the pork slices were soft and tender but I would have liked the yolk of the ramen egg to be a tad more underdone. I must say that with practically the entire foodie world raving about Ramen Keisuke Tonkotsu ...
