My Little Tapas Bar is actually a sister outlet of My Little Spanish Place, a spanish restaurant at bukit timah area. Their philosophy is based on the Spanish saying, "Mi Casa es Su Casa", which means "My House is Your House". The first Spanish restaurant to be helmed by two chefs with strong Spanish heritage – Maria Sevillano from Salamanca, Spain and Edw...

Thanks to the great folks at Faber Peak Singapore, I won $100 Faber Peak dining voucher in their recent Facebook Valentine's Day contest! A brief background - Located at the top of the hill at Mount Faber, the premise was given a complete make over and transformed into a bright and colorful F&B joint. Spuds & Aprons (what a unique name!) brands itself...

There are lots of choices here. The set meal is very worth it as it comes with dessets and a side dish. Taste wise, the army stew is so so only, despite having chesse in the hot pot, which kinda makes the soup a bit sticky and thick. To me, it has too many flavours and none stand out. Really taste like rojiak. I prefer to have Chinese steamboat. The stewed pork is a real surprise thou...
Every time I'm at Marche, I would definitely order their Swiss Rosti, which is consistently good. The grated potatoes are slightly firm and not mushy, and the top layer is always nice and crisp. With a sprinkling of salt , this dish is simple but it never fails We also got the Parma Ham Pizza which was quite good too, consisting of parma ham, sliced tomatoes, arugula & c...
I always thought that Izakaya is a place mainly for drinks and TPI really change the concept! I went there on a Wednesday night and it was crowded! They have an extensive list of beers and sakes as well as food too! Must try are the Kushi Yaki, especially the Tsukune! One bite and I can't stop! Hotate wrapped with bacon is a good choice to! Their Tori Karaage is ...
Yum Cha has become pretty much an integral part of leisure. Few activities come close to matching the relaxation and enjoyment supping over good dim sum and hot tea over a lazy morning/afternoon. My quest to find delicious dim sum (with the added criteria of not breaking the bank) brought be to Shi Wei Xian Hong Kong Dim Sum. A stall nestled within a coffee shop in the qui...

I was lucky enough to get to dine here recently. Talking about location of the place, for drivers like me, its near the rear carpark (FOC!) facing the rugby field and you walk up the staircase near Omakase Burger and the entrance to the building itself. You will find it at the same floor as Ah Yat Restaurant. With seats overlooking the rugby field, this newly opened steam...

The spaghetti cooked with the chunky tomato sauce and served with a slice of juicy pan fried chicken breast. The spaghetti was perfectly cooekd and soaked up all the goodness from the tomato sauce. The downside was that the dish tasted slightly bland - few dashes of salt could solve the problem. The breast seem out of place (didnt really merge with the dish).

A visit to PhoPho during lunch time proved to be a good choice because our food was served fairly quickly. The mango salad is artifully made, with thinly sliced green mangoes, carrots and cucumbers with sesame sauce sprinkled at the top. A good start to a healthy lunch. One good thing about this dish is that I don't have to peel the prawns. The prawns were fresh and sliced into half. T...

Spanish Doughnut = Churro Now that's the kind of equation I like and understand. Personally, I had never had a churro until my trip to Australia a couple of years back, and then once more at Grubs at Bishan Park. There hasn't been any looking back since. After all, who can say no to the delectable fried dough pastry dipped in your choice of chocolate sauces?S...
Wimbly Lu, my second visit. Love this quaint little place tucked in the residential estates in Serangoon. Check out the fluffy white clouds look in the interior! This place is known for its desserts and ambiance This time round i ordered some different dishes from my first visit! First dish, Chicken & mushroom baked rice (SGD11). Verdict: Don't order this, quite ta...
There were 3 levels of spiciness to choose from - Red, black and white. I tried the Black Spicy Ramen which was a peppery and spicy mix for broth. The noodles were tangy and the pork slices were soft and tender but I would have liked the yolk of the ramen egg to be a tad more underdone. I must say that with practically the entire foodie world raving about Ramen Keisuke Tonkotsu ...

Ever since my last visit here, I've been dying to come back to try out other dishes on their menu! This time I came to try out their Chicken Murtabak ($6)! Honestly, it's my first time trying Murtabak so I don't really have a benchmark to compare to. But overall it tasted really good with a chewy outer layer similar to egg prata and a generously filled delicious chicken bit...
I tried out the Garlic Butter Crab at The Mango Tree Indian Coastal Restaurant. The stone crab is first stuffed with butter and garlic as marinade so the crab soaks up the flavor of the butter and garlic, then it is steamed till cooked. The result is crab meat that is infused with the fragrant garlic and butter as the chef is careful to crack the pincer claws and shell to make it...
