To be away from the usual standard fast food chicken rest (u know this one..), I would highly recommend Arnold’s fried chicken. The place though, at a very ‘ulu’ shopping centre down in Geylang, it is always super congested with crowds .. be it families.. couples or students. Each time im there, I never fail to have to wait. This was taken before fasting, i and hubby was walking down the street of orchard central and saw Cold Stone Creamery shop that specializes in “mix in ice cream”, where they mix various ingredients into ice cream, on a cold stable top (so it doesn’t melt) and serve it to you in a cup, preferably lined with crispy waffle. At Cold Stone, they are also known for their acrobatic skills...

A great dinner must be topped off with an equally yummy dessert. And nothing like a very sweet one to do the trick. We got a candy jelly beancurd ($2.30) to share. Personally I find the overall taste too sweet to even know what the beancurd itself tastes like, but the boyfriend thinks the sugar level is just perfect. We'll return to try the other flavours for the beancurd next ...
