Yesterday was my third time trying out Krispy Kreme's doughnuts. I must say the only thing that's worth the visit to KK is their Original Glazed. My RV doughnut had a hole in it (minus points on the presentation already) and it's way too sweet and heavy. Plus, there's not evident RV taste. This tastes just like the Original Glazed, but two times sweeter. The RV was...
[Buttermilk Waffles - with smoked ham, mozzarella, cheddar, Parmesan S$14] - nothing to wow about. I would like to say their service is pretty bad. Had to repeat our orders a few times, no side plates, had to ask for utensils after our waffle is served, when we were served the waffle they asked if we want the ice cream by the side but the ice cream did not come?! 😰😰 that'...

One of the best fried carrot cake (white) can be found at the Ang Mo Kio Central Market & Food Centre. The carrot cake itself is soft and is well covered with egg – this combination is perfect as it is crispy around the edges with a nice fragrant eggy flavour! The picture below is of the $4 serving size and comes with sambal chilli which goes well with the carrot cake.

Furthermore, it is served very nicely presented. With an o...
Wimbly Lu, my second visit. Love this quaint little place tucked in the residential estates in Serangoon. Check out the fluffy white clouds look in the interior! This place is known for its desserts and ambiance This time round i ordered some different dishes from my first visit! First dish, Chicken & mushroom baked rice (SGD11). Verdict: Don't order this, quite ta...
There is always long queue at Penang Street especially during lunch hours and despite the fact that they split over two dining areas, it is still not enough to cater for patrons who are looking forward to their food. I like the restaurant theme colour. It is so much like turquoise and it complements the vintage design of their dining table. There is a board that states their Top 10 Dishes ...

This set come with a soup and a kimchi.Spaghetti Aglio Olio with Chicken teriyaki set $9.20, it was not a good mix as the chicken was not blended well with the spaghetti.Free unlimited ice cream and drink. This was the best. I kept mixin...
There were 3 levels of spiciness to choose from - Red, black and white. I tried the Black Spicy Ramen which was a peppery and spicy mix for broth. The noodles were tangy and the pork slices were soft and tender but I would have liked the yolk of the ramen egg to be a tad more underdone. I must say that with practically the entire foodie world raving about Ramen Keisuke Tonkotsu ...

Shokudo is a Japanese restaurant that serves both Japanese food as well as western delights such as pasta. We went to the branch at Cathay Cineleisure, which was relatively quite empty for dinner timing. We ordered a carbonara and a mushroom pasta for the mains. In my opinion, the carbonara was really not bad, but I would prefer it to be a little bit creamier (personal preference). For...

Upon hearing good reviews about this place, me and friend came here to try out the very famous Ayam penyet! Before stepping into this shop, I saw quite a number of Indonesian restaurants nearby, at different levels too. Ayam penyet (smashed fried chicken) is actually an Indonesian dish consisting of fried chicken, sambals, cucumber, fried tofu and tempeh. As for Ayam Bakar, is actua...
