Best Lor Mee Smile Nov 17, 2012
Categories : Singaporean Chinese | Hawker Centre | Noodles

So far this is the best Lor Mee I have tried. We can drive all the way from our home at north east when we have craving for Lor Mee.
Long Q expected but worth waiting. The cost is $2 for the small bowl and $3 for the big bowl. Nowadays it's not easy to find a meal at $2 and food with old time taste.

The gravy is smooth and not starchy like some of the other stores. Some stores you can find lumpy starch while eating.
There's shredded fish, Gor hiang and braised pork belly meat in there. What make this store good is the ingredients are fresh and taste good individually. The noodle is cook just right, not over and under. This is due to they have one seperate person specialize on just boiling the noodle.
Must try!!!

Taiwan bubble milk tea Smile Nov 06, 2012

Categories : Taiwanese | Juices

My friend recommended me this new bubble milk tea shop at millenia walk.
Happen to be at Marina square last weekend and Bought a large cup of bubble milk tea from this shop.
The black pearl is so chewy and tasty. It's different from the rest of the bubble tea shop that taste either too soft or too hard.
The milk tea is very smooth and can really taste the tea fragrance.
The shop sell also fresh fruit juice. The shop assistant told me Passionfruit QQ drink is 1 of the best seller in the shop. It has black pearls, white pearls, nata decoco , fresh passion fruit blended with green tea. I think I will try the passion fruit QQ drink in my next visit.

Yummy fried Kway Teow Smile Nov 06, 2012

The Kway Teow is fried only when ordered. I usually ordered the $4 one cos it comes with more ingredients.
The store don't use pre fried Kway Teow; nowadays many stores uses pre fried Kway Teow to save time which I think do affect the taste.
The fried Kway Teow uncle has very unique character and he don't talk much. He just node his head after taken your order and point to the disposable utensils if you need them.
