Very average and expensive Cry Aug 08, 2013

Categories : Hawker Centre | Noodles

Rojak is one of my favourite local foods so I always order it when I dine out. The rojak here was very average, nothing special at all just a regular fruit salad. yet it was very expensive for the super tiny portion sizes. The tiny plate of rojak I had cost four whole dollars. The portion was so small it was finished in a mere few bite. The pineapple was also quite sour.

Not very good western food Cry Aug 08, 2013

My first time trying Saizeriya, and was quite disappointed with it. Although the prices were cheap and kept low for all menu items, the food quality is equally as low. I paid $6 for a Squid Ink Pasta and found that it was not up to par at all. It was rather oily and bland tasting. I couldnt even finish half of it. Not a good choice even with the low prices for the food.

The service was very bad here though, while the server was taking our orders she was practically shouting at us. As each of us told her our orders she would exclaim " next" abruptly. Another server was also very blunt in addressing us. In addition the ambience was honestly nothing to talk about, there is barely any ambience. and the aircon was not working very well in some parts of the restaurant.

Extremely expensive Japanese food Cry Aug 07, 2013
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook

Tenshin is a high end Japanese outlet known for its tempura. Taste wise the tempura is better than normal with a lighter batter and less greasy bite. However the prices are insanely expensive. A dinner cost many hundred dollars per person for not super a lot of food. They also don't have a very wide menu. The prawn tempura was one of the better dishes being fresh and fried well, not overcooked. Sashimi was fresh too!

Milk tea  Cry Aug 05, 2013
Categories : Food Court

Needed a drink to go with my lunch, so I decided on getting a hot milk tea from the drink stall at this food court. The drink was an absolute dissapointment though. It was very bland and lacking in flavour, not sweet enough and without a strong taste. The milk taste was also weak and the whole drink just tasted wrong and very watered down. Not worth the 1.30 i paid for this. The chin chow was ok though, not specatacular but at least it had enough taste.

Zi char dinner Cry Aug 01, 2013
Categories : Coffeeshop | Seafood | Zi Char

Came here for dinner with the family and grandparents for a simple dinner consisting local dishes. We ordered a deep fried salted egg pork ribs dish in the medium size which cost 15 dollars. The pork ribs were pretty tender, yielding with slight pressure, But a major problem was the blandness of the food. The dish was not tasty enough at all suprisingly because it is a salted egg dish which is expected to be very flavourful.
