Really love the ice cream here! The dark chocolate ice cream is my absolute favorite. The dark chocolate taste is so intense and dark making it taste absolutely decadent. The ice cream is freshly made and is very smooth and rich tasting without being too cloying. Light and intense flavored at the same time! Prices are really competitive too with two scoops costing about 5 dollars only! A must try!

Crystal jade bakery has these really interesting pies which are sweet and salty at the same time. The pastry is sweet like a dessert pastry but the filling is savory similar to a chicken pie. The pastry is very crumble and breaks apart upon the slightest pressure while the filling is almost like mashed potato with not much chicken pieces although its called a chicken pie. Despite these flaws the pastry is still very tasty!

Mr obanyaki at ngee Ann city is where I always frequent to get my fix of Japanese pancakes. I usually get the fish shape ones cause they are so adorable! The best flavour is still the regular red bean even though I also like the sweet and rich chocolate flavours the pancake here is light unlike other places which can be too dense. This means you don't feel too full from eating them!

Mc Donald's fries are the thin and crispy type. They have a high crust to filling ratio and are crunchy when fresh out of the fryer. They are not too heavily salted and are particularly good with ketchup or McDonalds signature garlic chilli sauce. I normally get the large fries with an upsized meal because the price difference is not very significant for a much larger portion.

Swiss bakes breads are always consistently good, without a high price tag to match! They are my go to place for good pastries and bread! For ciabatta bread from here the last time I visited, priced at 4 dollars for a 220g loaf it wasn't cheap but neither was it horribly expensive. The bread was fresh and light, with a lovely flavour on its own! Heated up for a few minutes in te over, the crust crisps up whole the inside remains soft and fluffy, perfect for a variety of uses since it goes well with almost everything!
