Fishball Kway Teow Soup OK Oct 17, 2013

Once again.... Due to my cough, i try to stick to soupy food. Dad brought me here after i've seen the doctor!

He frequent this stall with his friends. It's the first time for me but i always see this coffeeshop when i drove past. There's wasn't a lot of stalls available at this coffeeshop but seems like business is pretty good here!

When my fishball noodles arrived, it looks good! Was told the fishballs are hand made and it sure taste fresh, texture was nice! Pair it with the smooth kway teow + the clear soup = happy tummy!

Duck Noodle OK Oct 11, 2013   (Related Review)

Was having a cough so wanted something soupy and hot. I decided to try the duck noodle soup! Usually i will order wantan mee + chicken feet from this stall.

For $3, it was quite a good portion. Luckily there was quite a lot of soup too! The aunty also added 3 wantan into the noodle soup and there was some vegetables too. Duck meat is decent though, nothing too special.

Dinner OK Sep 23, 2013

Usually at Koh Grill, i will definitely order at least one portion of the popular item Shiok Maki but i decide to skip it for this particular visit. Just feel like having something soupy.

Had the sukiyaki and mushroom yakitori. The taste for sukiyaki is not bad but slightly disappointing cause it came luke warm, not hot! But luckily taste is still ok so i just carry on eating. Mushroom yakitori is simple and nice! Just what i wanted.

I guess for my next visit, i shall stick to shiok maki. Something which i must at least order =)

Grilled Fish OK Sep 17, 2013

One of my favorite choice for lunch if i want a quieter spot to enjoy my meal. During my recent visit, i decided to try the western food. For my first visit, i tried the grilled fish.

First impression was the portion. I thought can be a bit more given that i've paid $6. Gravy is a bit salty for my liking anf garlic bread was too hard. The sides are decent. Overall not impressive and i'm not sure if i want to try it again.

Lunch OK Sep 16, 2013

If not for a friend's birthday lunch, i won't know that a cafe existed here! Seems like if you want to find a quiet venue to enjoy a meal, can consider this place. When i was there, i only saw a family of 4 walked in and the rest of the cafe was occupied by us.

Food was already arranged for everyone and we only had to choose our main course in advance. I opt for chicken! Started off with the soup first and it was pumpkin one. Taste is decent but a bit watery for the soup texture. Then it was followed by a cold cut platter which i quite enjoy =)

My main course which is the chicken was actually pretty good. Nice crispy layer for the skin and tender chicken meat. Gravy was a little bit salty but still acceptable. They were quite generous with the sides which i quite like.

There were desserts too but i was too full and busy catching up with friends to try it. But looks good though!
