Yum Cha - Braised Pig’s trotter with “Fatt Choy” Black Moss - $38 for half of trotter

The braised Pig’s trotter with “Fatt Choy” Black Moss is not oily at all. The tendons of the trotter are intact and that was my favourite, it is springy. The meat is tender, juicy, and well-seasoned too and goes well with the special belachan chilli sauce.
This food tasting event was held at Sentosa Cove in one of the function room, the food was delivered by Yum Cha in a cook-tek bag with an induction base to keep food warm for 2 hours.

Yum Cha - Fried Rice with Chinese Sausage in Lotus Leaf - $38

The first mouthful impresses me with the fragrant of the Chinese sausage. Besides that, it has other ingredients such as dried shrimps, etc. The black sauce was just right and on the whole the rice is very tasty and yummy and can eat on its own.

Tarte Flambee - It is baked to a thin crispy crust and fills with Creme fraiche, onions, bacon and egg.  It tastes yummy and crispy.

We went on a food trail with The Entertainer and was interesting and fun to try all the food.

We had our Peng Cai on 26 January 2016.  It was delicous and came in a big claypot for 6 pax.

It has baby abalones, sea cucumbers, dried scallops, braised pork belly, chicken, duck, yam, white carrot, dried beancurd, chinese cabbage, ngoh xiang ball.  All are well cooked, tender, springy, and the gravy tastes fantastic.

We went for a food trail to Praelum.  The Salmon-En-Croute is my favourite dish.
The salmon loin is wrapped in a thin puff pastry and baked to the right temperature. It tastes yummy with salmon soft inside and puff crispy.  The salmon loin was well seasoned and served with wholegrain mustard.
