We went on food trail to MEAT liquor at 99 Duxton Road with The Entertainer. We had beer Burgers, fried Chicken Wings, potatoes chips with sambal, and fried pickles with a thin layer of crispy batter. Yummy! ‪#‎myentertainer‬ @the_entertainer241.

Salmon Yu Sheng - Small $38 & Large $68
Besides the usual pickles and other ingredients such as fresh licensed Salmon in the Yu Sheng, my favourite jelly fish and garlic bits were added. The sauce was yummy and has the taste and fragrant of lemon-grass which was the first time such a taste in Yu Sheng. As usual, oil, fish sauce, lime, nuts, plum sauce, pepper and cinnamon powder etc were added.

 
Roasted Crispy Chicken - $40 for whole big chicken

The chicken is roasted with crispy skin and minimum oil left on the skin and topped with garlic bits. The fresh tastes yummy when dip with the special blended sweet sauce.
This food tasting event was held at Sentosa Cove in one of the function room, the food was delivered by Yum Cha in a cook-tek bag with an induction base to keep food warm for 2 hours.

 
The BBQ Suckling Pig was very well BBQ and was done in a very nice even brown colour and not charred. The skin was super-crispy and seasonings just right. The fresh was also very tender and juicy to eat on its own.

Yum Cha - Braised Pig’s trotter with “Fatt Choy” Black Moss - $38 for half of trotter
The braised Pig’s trotter with “Fatt Choy” Black Moss is not oily at all. The tendons of the trotter are intact and that was my favourite, it is springy. The meat is tender, juicy, and well-seasoned too and goes well with the special belachan chilli sauce.

Yum Cha - Fried Rice with Chinese Sausage in Lotus Leaf - $38
The first mouthful impresses me with the fragrant of the Chinese sausage. Besides that, it has other ingredients such as dried shrimps, etc. The black sauce was just right and on the whole the rice is very tasty and yummy and can eat on its own.

1) We tried the crispy fried half chicken with the compliment of two flavours, namely the garlic and spicy sauce. The chicken came with very crispy coated flour, the chicken meat was juicy and tender inside. The sauce was great too. Yummy!!! S$17.00
2) We also ordered the crispy coated with flour mushroom slices. It tastes fantastic. - S$4.00
The bill was S$21.10 without any GST charged.

I ordered the sauteed pork ribs in sweet sauce ($12.80), it has a thin layer of crispy flour and top garnish with sweet sauce.  It was crispy on the outside and tender pork on the inside.  Yummy!!

I also ordered fresh pork filling xiao long bao ($6.80) which I can't finish and bought home.  Even when it is cold, it tastes yummy!

My total bill $24.50 including GST and service charges.

The baked whole chicken was fantastic, the chicken skin is crispy and most of the fats beneath the skin has flowed out.  The flesh has the taste of wine and is juicy and tender.

Very  Good!!!

 

 
The prawn and sotong sticks come with seasoning and taste good too.  It is priced for 1 for 1.
