After some temptation, decided to give Doutor Coffee a try, which is just at the lobby of my office tower...

Wanted to order pancakes, but the cashier switched the menu to another type which totally puts me off. Its for lunch sad Without any choice, I changed to plan B, and got the Ham & Egg sandwich.

They have cakes too, if bread is not your source of energy intake in the morning smile

Ordered Americano coffee to go along with my sandwich. Nice, and scent coffee. Isn't too bitter, in my opinon. Sandwich is not bad, while the egg is mushy, not overcooked. What's more can you ask from a sandwich?

While Doutor Coffee is pretty known for its fine quality of coffee beans, almost everyone ordered a cup of coffee for takeaway for dine-in. With its only sole location in Marina Bay yet, it does attract a number of avid caffeine drinkers!

Fun playing cafe Smile Sep 05, 2013

All-day DIY pancakes anyone? Basically it's a piece of cake with the ordering process. If you are there to have fun, choose 1 flavor ($25.00) or 2 flavors ($28.00) batter, your 3 toppings, & add on sides at additional costs. All visible in a page, less the flipping hassle! They have house-made creations too, but who wants to miss the fun??

Earl Grey Lavender Tea ($3.90/cup or $6.00/pot). Ice Latte ($4.50). Chunky Chocolate Milkshake & Madness Strawberry Milkshake ($6.90/glass). Milkshakes were alright, but probably too much ice, thus making it hard to drink initially.

We had the Asian Pandan, Original Buttermilk, Strawberry Farm, and Dark Chocolate. For sweet toppings, we ordered Caramelized Apples, Cream Cheese, M&M's, Peanut Butter, Blueberries, and Banana Slices.

For toppings were Scrambled Eggs ($3.00), Honey Baked Ham ($4.00), and Sauteed Mushrooms ($4.00). I personally felt that the sauteed mushrooms taste like the ingredients inside our chinese snacks, known as "Soon Kueh"..

Pancake Art!!! It's a little awkward to get working on it, but once you started, there's no stopping! We basically googled for some cartoon designs and used that as a reference to draw out what we desire.. Most are disastrous!!

Have a design you created there, and think it's an awesome creation? Flaunt it, and give it a chance to make its way to the "wall of fame", where a tv display slideshow of a series of other jaw-dropping creations that seems almost impossible to us!

If you are a person who has endless of creations and innovations, this place might just be the right place to have fun, yet stomach-filling, and creating memorable memories with your friends and family smile

Bread for breakfast? Smile Sep 01, 2013

For details, please visit http://foodesteem.blogspot.sg/2013/09/provence-bakery-cafe.html

I get to know Provence when I was previously working in ION Shopping Mall. It is a Japanese-owned Bakery, which focus on creation and quality.

First, Spicy Beef Curry Cube ($1.60) whcih seems like a rubic cube. Love the fluffy-ness of the bread, and the smell of curry just came flowing out when one part was bitten off.

Second, Cream Cheese Sesami ($0.80) which I believe they meant sesame?
Again, fluffy bread! A small amount of cream cheese, and taste of sesame seed is not significant at all.

They have a cafe on the second floor, which gives patrons a place to relax and enjoy their food and pastries to the fullest. Provence do have sandwiches too, and having tired that before, no doubt my likeness for Provence still stays the same!

Relaxed brunch by Haji Lane Smile Aug 25, 2013

CAD Florentine

CAD Florentine

Beef Sausage Omelette

Beef Sausage Omelette

Newly opened cafe in Haji Lane, CAD Cafe, which means Coffee, Art, and Design smile

They have indoor and outdoor seatings, where tables are those wood-made type, and chairs by the entrance are seats wrapped with gunny sacks!

Indoor isn't spacious, yet parade various art and design works from international-renowned artists to local upcoming and student works.

Drinks we has the Latte ($5.00), and Latte Noisette. If you are not sure of the content level, they have a chart by the cashier for your viewing smile

Based on their recommendation, we had the CAD Florentine! Having toast, egg benedict, smoked salmon, and spinach. The taste is marvelous, especially the smoked salmon lol

Another "into-stomach" recommendation is their Beef Sausage Omelette. It has toast, spinach, and beef sausage, red capsicum, and cherry tomatoes wrapped within the omelette. Beef sausage is a little spicy with peppery taste, and I can't stop fork-ing it into my mouth tongue

Unlike other places, their ice-water have lemon, orange, and mint! It's no wonder I had this refreshed feel after having a sip of it lol

If you craved for a drink at night, this is a new spot as they opened till quite late, and quite a cosy place to relax in this small cafe, drinking on your beers.

The Queen Victoria Banquet

The Queen Victoria Banquet

I have visited The King Louis Grill and Bar previously, on my own accord to try out their food, and was kinda disappointed.

Heading straight to the food, we had the mushroom soup. As described by the PR, this soup consists of five mushrooms, and I find it thick and taste is just right! "Drenched" my bread with the soup, and it was down my stomach in seconds tongue

Next came this light salad. Bite-sized tomatoes, with corns and chicken with sauce. Not being a tomato-liker from the start, I headed straight for the corn and chicken.. It is definitely a dish to go for.

Platter C consisting of chicken wings, potato wedges, calamari rings, fried squid, and their one of their supposing-signature banana wrapped with bacon strips. It is as I had before, banana does not goes well with the bacon.

Last came The Queen Victoria Banquet ($108.50). Consisting of five highlights, and with meat and vegetable bases, this is the best part of the meal!

I love their scallop, prawns, and back ribs most! Especially their back ribs, full of bbq sauce, and ribs is soft and sweet! Beef is a little hard to my liking, probably due to medium-rare.
