Visited the new Pique Nique outlet at Jcube smile Like the casual 'outdoor' dining deco. There are trees and even grasslands in it lolx.

Cute cup smile

Broulash (did i remember it correctly?) fries.Thick potato strips with beef stew sauce and mayo!

Classic egg ben.My must-try in every restaurant that has it tongue

So pretty~

Nice ooozing yolk!Too bad the entire thing was a tad too sourish though :/

Swisshrooms burger.Like the sautee mushrooms in it~

Chilli seafood spag.

Cheese & mushrooms macaroni~

Very cheesy! Me likes!

Uhh, triple choco cheesecake? It's unlike usual cheesecake where we get very jerlat after having half of it.This taste good and light at the same time, that I can possibly finish the whole cake on my own!

The family <3

*credit to pique nique's fb Take-away their macarons cos we were too full for any more desserts there and then.

Flavours you definitely have to try: Red Velvet, Salted Caramel and Cookies & Cream with Mint! New branch at Jcube

Sana's farewell @ Jumbo Seafood Smile Sep 16, 2014

First up, sashimi!I dunno what's this called. But it's damn good. Anyone knows?? They provided a mini steamboat/pot of soup for us, in case anyone doesn't like the taste of it raw.But nah, it's soooo fresh and sweet without any cooking!

Looking at the pics makes me crave for it now! If i'm not wrong, it's around 100bucks for this plate of sashimi~

Can't live without sauce + wasabi.

Seaweed toufu with enoki mushroom.Super good too!Though just a simple dish, I've always love all 3, toufu, seaweed and enoki mushroom individually! So when put together as a dish, it's heavenly~~

Then came our main character, ta-dahhh~~We ordered 3 flavours for Sana to try.First to come, chilli crab!

MUST-HAVE!

The gravy goes so well with the cripsy buns that they were gone before we had any photos of them! Next, cheesy butter crab.

Quite similar to watery butter egg yolk ones we have at zi char places.Replace the egg yolk with cheese that's almost undetectable.Smooth and buttery yums!

Lastly, my favourite!Salted egg yolk crab!

MINE. Muahahahaa.

But sadly, it wasn't as nice as the previous two.Not because we were full already ok. It just lacks of something and i find a lil' too dry~ :/For once, i prefer the chilli crab. And even the butter cheese one taste better :X

Hatched @ Evans Lodge Smile Sep 16, 2014

I LOVE breakfast for dinners.

When I heard of all-day breakfast served at Hatched (Evans Lodge), i knew i have to try it!

As the restaurant name suggests, they serve only mostly eggs. Poached, fried, boiled, baked, scrambled, real ones, fake ones, cartoon ones lols. You name it, they have it.

Love the old school location.

Definitely have to try the egg benedict there!

They have SO MANY different types!

But all priced the same, $12 for one poached egg, $18 for two smile

Greedy me have two of cos.. lols.

Rise & dine! <3

The fake eggs~~

My Sir Benedict! Taste so goood with the cripsy strip bacon.

And there isn't the overwhelming taste of vinegar (did they even add in vinegar?) unlike some other brunch places.

And the mashed potato is dripped with thick mushroom sauce, surprisingly delicious!

In my opinion, it's better than Wild Honey, the benchmark for its famous egg benedict.

More value-for-money too! Only 18bucks.

I'm craving for it now while typing!

Burly Benedict which comes with minced beef instead of bacon strips.

Doesn't really go well in my opinion :X

The beef tasted slightly cold..

As soon as i saw panna cotta written on the blackboard behind me, i knew i have to have that for dessert!

Doesn't look great, BUT oooh, IT'S HEAVENLY.

Comes with generous serving of berries.

Took a walk around the place. So serene.

What pleasure to have a peaceful breakfast there.

Same ol' menu smile

The new branch at Holland V serves non-eggs dinner too!

Kept ourselves entertained while waiting for our food.

An entire booklet of egg recipes!

This is no normal figurines..

It's a tic-tac-toe game set!!

So cute and apt for the cafe.

Sir egg benedict for me as usual~

Beef portobello with chips.

There's a choice of veggie portobello if you wanna be healthier smile

What a huge yolk!

Casallena - tapas wine bar bistro Smile Sep 16, 2014

Went to Casallena after searching for a nice restaurant for some time.

Casallena offers a relaxing, modern place to chillax, perfect to spend the quiet evening.

The restaurant serves a 4-course deluxe set dinner at only $38++.

Extremely worth it.

Appetizer:

Chilled tomato marinated with mirin and soyu, served with farmer salad and sweet balsamic dressing

The tomato is huge, sweet and juicy.

Soup:

Cream of vongole

The soup is towards the more creamy side, and I think the cream overwhelms any flavour of the clams.

Main course:

Pan-seared sea beam with seasonal vegetables and red wine truffle sauce

Dessert:

Hazelnut!

Movenpick Cappuccino

For any order of the set meal, you may just top up $6 for a glass of house pour wine.
