A great getaway from my books. It comes in a set with rice, soup, healthy salad and the main dish which is chicken. Chicken with steamed egg as the main dish and the rest is a set. Quite filling for one to finish everything. It is a mixed and combination meal of our own choice. Vege: Bean sprout with diced chicken, seafood with egg and rice. Made up a meal for 2.

Causeway Point had just done with their renovation and have not been there for meals yet. Took the escalator to the top part, should be level 6 of the shopping mallFried gyoza. A must order dish at any Ichiban outlet. The gyozas are fried to perfection with the sweet sauce on it. It just tastes superb. Remember to eat it while its hot. Ordered a combination meal with soup base, unagi and egg as our side dish, chawanmushi, salmon slices and oranges as our fruits. The usual drinks will be hot ocha, refillable.

The chawanmushi is smooth steamed egg with crab meat, chicken and fish cake.
The seafood soup is a bit lacking in their soup ingredients. There are 2 prawns, 2 scallops and the rest are all vegetables. Improvement needs to be made in their soup dishes.

Quick lunch over at Jurong Point. Wanna change the usual place of eating at Food Court to a better cafe, priced reasonably. Both on the same floor. Seafood hor fun. The portion is just right and with lots of ingredients like prawns, fish slices, sotong. Chicken claypot rice. The sauce is all concentrated in the centre, I need to mix them all evenly before having a tasty claypot rice. It is kind of ready made style. Not as fragrant as those cooked with the claypot over flames. There is not much chicken though, have lots of bones. Despite that, it is still quite yummy.

I have ordered grilled white fish with peri peri sauce. Grilled fish is a healthier choice as compared to fried fish and chips isnt it? Peri peri sauce on top of the fish. My first time eating this sauce but I wonder why it tastes a bit bitter as I had more of it.

The sides can be choosen, my choice is coleslaw and french fries. Yummy combination.

BBQ Chicken Daily Set Meal can be considered a budget restaurant should you have cravings for Western food. They have 5 choices for their set meal which comes with a main course and a drink for $12.90 nett. The environment wise is rather decent with booth seats. The service crew at Northpoint is a bit slow perhaps due to the lack of manpower.

We have choosen this 2 sets for dinner. Mushroom Chicken Steak with french fries and coleslaw for side dish. The chicken steak sauce is alright, blends well with the chicken. However, the chicken skin is rather fattening. Threw away some of it. Roasted Cajun Half Chicken with fries and coleslaw too. With a half chicken in quite a small plate, I will suggest diners to request for another bowl to separate out the chicken for better enjoyment of food.
