This stall has a very very long queue and the waiting time can be up to 20-30mins.
Their prices are quite odd because the cheapest bowl of fish soup is $7. It goes from 7, to $10 and $12.

It's good to share the $10 fish soup with your colleague or friend. It's enough for two girls like me and my friend.

$10 for soup, 50cents per bowl of rice.

The fish is relatively fresh. And I love the clear soup. Delicious and slightly salty.

Affordable and tasty kwaychap  Smile Sep 11, 2013

The stall is helmed by one and only person - the owner of the stall.
I find it very impressive that he can manage the stall by alone.

His kwaychap set is really affordable and cheap, and his serving is quite huge too!
The kwaychap soup is tasty and savory, and it isn't too salty either.

The side dishes are decent. Special mention to the pig liver because they aren't very oily.

Generous amount of ingredients.

Nice fried dumpling  Smile Sep 11, 2013

I like this ipoh version found at amoy food hawker. The noodles are silky smooth in a moderately gluely hor fun sauce.
The noodles come with mushroom and choice of chicken slices, fried dumplings etc.

I like the fried dumplings because the fillings are very meaty and generous. The queue is relatively long but they are quite efficient in their service. The prices are normal hawker food prices too, so it's reasonable.

Fish sliced bee hoon w milk  OK Sep 11, 2013

Their is another hawker stall that attracts a lot of crowd during lunch hour.
As usual, I gave it a try since it has been featured on press media. They have both the milk and no-milk version.

I gave the one with milk a try and I find the soup relatively bland. It wasn't exactly flavorful like how fish soup will be. The milk added was a little too excessive, and the noodles lack the chewiness as it was a tad too soft.

Worse thing is, the queue takes quite long.

Love their tom yum Smile Sep 11, 2013

This is the price list of their handmade noodles. I like how they have so many varieties and differentiation!

I've tried both the normal one and tomyum version. The normal one is a little oily, surprisingly more oily than the tomyum version.
The tomyum version is really addictive and spicy! The spiciness will linger in your gastric and it's really a good option on a rainy day smile

They are very generous with the ingredients too! There's many chicken slices and vegetables in a bowl of piping hot tom yum handmade noodles smile

There may be a long queue but they are very fast and efficient. Approx waiting time is 15mins or less.
