TCC - The Connoisseur Concerto  (Bugis)

Wow, I didn't expect The Connoisseur Concerto (tcc) to sell mooncakes!
I gave them a try and they were surprisingly good. Honestly, I didn't expect it to be good since it wasn't really specializing in this. Nonetheless, the snowskin is really soft and tender, with appropriate thickness. The fillings are pretty good too, especially when I tried the tangerine flavour. It comes with a tangerine chocolate ball inside too. Amazing.

Mcdonald's new butterscotch flavour was out recently. Not sure if it's here to stay for long or just for a short period of time.
Personally, I thought the first few bites were really refreshing, prolly because I haven't tried it before. The caramel sauce was a little grainy and it's pretty good.

But subsequently, the sweetness starts to overwhelm. Not many might like it!

The moment i walked pass the bakery, I was drawn to it by the number of varieties they have. Most of them are very much linked to or contain cheese, surprisingly.

I bought a simple cheese sausage bun and it was a little warm. I like how the bread isn't too oily or greasy like some would be. The bun is fluffy and pretty decent. It taste pretty fresh too! smile

They also sells mooncakes and muffins.

I mad love sogurt!
It's my favourite yogurt chain of outlets because of the very fact that we can customize our cupcakes in terms of weight and instead of per toppings prices.

My favourite flavour is strawberry and green apple, which give a fruity taste.
I've tried nutella flavour and it was a little weird to my likings. I also love it when I have the freedom to add toppings to my own discretion!

When we talk about cupcakes, the first thing we look at, or rather scrutinize, is the texture of the cupcake.
Is it moist and dense, or is it too crumbly?

For cupcakes with love, I honestly feel the latter. The cake texture is too dry and crumbly. It doesn't take together and crumbs would fall off so easily like nobody's business. I've tried better cupcakes and thus I didn't really like this version.

Oh well.
