Decided to have lunch here and try their noodles. Ordered the fishball mee pok. The chilli was quite good, spicy enough and smelled nice. The fishball was springy and did not have any fishy smell, which is a definite plus.

The staff there were also very friendly and service was good. The place was brightly lit and spacious, providing a comfortable amount of space for customers, unlike other EAT outlets that I've been to.

Lunch OK Jan 30, 2013

Have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while and finally got the chance to.

3 of us went down for lunch and I had the carbonara, which was just average in my opinion. It didn't blow me away; in fact, I got sick of it towards the end. Soup of the day was pumpkin soup, which was okay.

The service was slow, with the waitress being oblivious to her surroundings and as such, took a long time for us to get her attention.

You can smell the aroma of the claypot rice when you walk past the stall. This stall actually cooks their claypot rice using rice grains; instead of cooked rice, which is what most stalls do. Hence, the waiting time may take awhile.

Claypot Rice!

They are really generous with the chicken and the claypot rice tastes really good. When you reach the bottom of the pot, you can get the slightly burned rice, which is the best part!

The price is reasonable as well ^^

Chicken Rice!!! Smile Jan 30, 2013

I really love chicken rice, especially roasted chicken rice. It's like a must-try Singaporean dish. We went down to Lucky Plaza for lunch and ordered chicken rice for 4 and the set came with both steamed and roasted chicken, as well as 4 plates of rice and soup.

Personally, I felt that the roasted chicken tasted better than the steamed chicken, because of personal preference and also the difference in the textures of the chicken.

Tried the dao xiao mian over at Vivo City's Food Republic and it was pretty good so I decided to try the dao xiao mian here, just to see if it matches the standard. However, to my disappointment, the noodles were a far cry from what I had tried before.

I found that the soup was too diluted and failed to retain the full taste. Furthermore the noodles were not very well "cut" and was not springy at all. The ribs were average.
