Breakfast Smile May 31, 2013

This hotdog bun is one of my favorites in the bakery point.
The whole bun is soft and fresh with the cheese sausage inside it.
The breads are all fresh and recently out from the oven.
It costs $1.5, most of bread bun at there are 1.3++.
That's okay and filling breakfast. The staffs are quite fast in service.

There will not be many place to have in cheap and economy lunch around orchard area lol
But, yes, This stall provide. All food are in reasonable price.
I bought bee hoon, vege and sweet & sour fish fillets. It costs $3.10.
My colleague ordered chicken, vege and bee hoon, it's only $2.9.
Good for heath and pricy lunch. The staffs are friendly and fast in service.
Probably, i may not go always, but it's good place to dine in reasonable price at orchard.

Pan fried fish Cry May 30, 2013

Categories : Chinese Soup

Actually, Lucky Plaza just 7mins walk distance from office. but this is my very first time i tried this stall. I ate pan fried fish and rice for lunch yesterday.
It costs $5.5 per plate. Fish is fresh and no fishy taste but a bit over fried and get bitter taste from coated crambs.
Added mayonnaise and cabbage but no brocoli as shown in picture, in front of counter.
Ok, that's enough and may not come back to try again.

Madam Kwan's in Vivo SG Smile May 29, 2013

Categories : Malaysian | Noodles

I've got a chance to try authentic Malaysia cuisnes at Madam Kwan's.
My colleagues brought me there last week.
Most well-known signature dishes are Nasi Bojari and Nasi Lemak.
But also like to recommend the Otak-Otak ($15.90), the grilled fish paste.
No fishy smell and spicy, just simply fresh and delicious.
Thumbs up for the Char Kway Teow ($14.90) too.
Not too oily, flat rice noddles with all essential fresh integrants egg, chicken, squid, prawns, bean sprouts, etc.
When I taste the Nasi Bojari ($18.90) that my friend ordered, the coconut rice is well fragrant and in tri-color as they said.
But not too significant taste from others as their most popular dish, probably i may expect more.

Then, next is the dessert. The sweet bites of Banana Fritter with Ice Cream ($8.90) is touchable.
Loved to eat the fried banna that covered by thin crispy layer. That's really match with vanilla ice-cream.
Overall, quite satisfied with Madam Kwan's food.
I may come back again to try the curry chicken, malay satay and more others authentic food.

All of meal combo sets at Souperlicious are $10.9 each.
You can have pick one selected item for soup or side course.
I ordered Lobster Bisque soup and half sandwich.
Even the soup is spicy a bit, i'm quite fine with it. Sandwich is ok.
My friend had the broccoli soup, it's taste is really like a medicine lol
She was totally frustrated coz also floating a hair within her soup.
They changed new one but would come from same pot.
