Savoury Fare is flexible in their delivery service and even can take last minute order. They also have a lot of varieties and designs for their cake. Whether it's for full month, wedding, or whatever celebrations, they have it. They even have finger food like pies and brownies.

I placed my order through phone and while surfing the longevity cakes page, this particular cake caught my eyes as I was attracted by the fruits surrounding the cake. After the topping and design was decided, I am given the choice to choose what cake I want . Some of the choices includes Chocolate nougut, American Cheese, durian mousses, etoile. The salesperson suggested for me to choose Fresh Cream Mix-Fruit as it will goes well with the fruits at the top layer.

When the 3 kg cake arrives, I open it up and it was exactly the same as the photo shown on their website. Generous serving of fruits and there's a few layer of fruits for in between the sponge of the cake. The bottom layer is a layer of banana. So every bite was mixed with fresh cream, sponge and fruits. Everyone gives positive comment for this cake and goes for second and third round.

The only inconvenience is they don't accept credit card payment. Neither do they allow mailing of cheque. Only cash and cheque upon delivery is allowed.

Li Bai Cantonese Restaurant has got its name not because Tang Dynasty Li Bai opens this restaurant, neither is he a Cantonese. It's actually cause the chef got his inspirations from the poet, Li Bai.

Situated within the Sheraton Tower, we had a 5 course dinner for $300+. The whole decor of the restaurant is rather exquisite and there's Chinese paintings hanging around the walls.

Their shark fins were rather generous with the fins but other meat was mixed in as well. It's not too salty or sticky .

The fried noodle with shredded meat is a highly recommended dish. It taste something like hor fun with a big spread of chicken, egg and veggie.

I can finish the cod fish in just one mouthful and really wish that I can have a second serving for it's delicious taste.

Frolick - Healthy frozen yogurt Smile Apr 20, 2011

Categories : Stall / Kiosk | Desserts and Cakes

I've received a complimentary card to redeem a free frozen yogurt [Cup B] worth $5.10 for original flavour. There are altogether 5 different sizes at 3 Oz (no toppings allowed), 4 Oz (Cup A), 5 Oz (Cup B), 7 Oz (Cup C) and 11 Oz (Take home)

Their yogurt is a healthy choice and its low in fat so we don't have to worry about gaining extra fats while having this for an after lunch dessert.

The staff is friendly and waited patiently for us to choose our toppings. Seriously, all the toppings looks so nice, the fruits looks fresh and the nuts looks matching but in the end, I still choose my all time favourite - Cookies and Cream.

Now I know why Ikea restaurant is always so crowded. Look at what they are offering - Supper of local delights at only $1.90 from 8pm to 9.30pm which is my dinner time. Where can one find such cheap dinner? Even coffee shops are selling at $2 - $2.50 at the cheapest. I'm so glad that I worked overtime today and went with my colleagues. Even got a free treat.

My two colleagues and I ordered pizza, chocolate mousses, organic pastas which comes with free muffin and fishball kway tiao soup and roughly each of us only have to pay $5! I am really surprised. We also got two free drinks as one of my colleague is a member there.

The muffins and pizza is abit cold as we didn't put them in the oven to heat it up so it's not so tasty. As for the organic pasta and fishball kway tiao soup. I think it's really worth the price. Also the cup of chocolate mousses only cost $0.90! We ended up so bloated and keep saying how worth this meal was. lol

Great place to find Taiwan Cusine Smile Apr 18, 2011

Categories : Taiwanese | Noodles

Had dinner at Xi Men Ding which serves Taiwan Cuisine. I love the decoration inside the restaurant and their menu too which gives a brief description of their dishes. The staff were all well trained and were efficient in helping us to pour our free flow Chrysanthemum tea.

We ordered 1 Radish Fried Rice, 1 Xin Zhu fried bee hoon and 1 Roasted Pork Belly Tofu. Although the dishes sounds similar to those we found in Singapore Zi Cha stall, the taste is very much different. My fried rice actually tasted quite bland but after adding the sauce from the roasted pork belly tofu, it tasted wonderful. So the Roasted Pork Belly Tofu is a must-order dish.

I find the Xin Zhu Fried Bee Hoon a bit expansive ($8.90) for such a small place but they did put a lot of mushroom which is my favourite.

Overall, considering the plus factors did covered up for the minus factors and I would think it's a recommended restaurant to visit.
