Premium white bread Smile Mar 21, 2011

The good thing about this branch is that is very spacious.
Not bcos it is big, but bcos there are no walls surrounding it.

I tried their thinner slice of premium white this round.
There are 12 slices and cost is still $2.20.

I also tried their long loft bread typically used for curry, also price at $2.20

cheese  OK Mar 20, 2011

I tried 2 cheese items from this branch for fun. The 2 items are below :

Item 1 cheese seems like those standard cheese sheet that replace the peanuts.
I do not think cheese matches the flour.

Item 2 is also cheese item and from the photo, you can see the pathetic amount of cheese there is.

Item 1 has alot more cheese than item 2 but price is the same for both items !!

I can taste the cheese in item 2 but the amount of cheese is really miserable

cheesy meat ball OK Mar 20, 2011

i saw that there is a new product at old chang kee....Cheezy chicken ball.

The cheese does not taste like cheese and does not have the smell of typical cheese either.

The price is $1.60.

I also tried their curry 'o' and the flour is good and taste nice.

I will not recommend the cheesy meat ball for sure and $1.60 is not worth the price.

Tender BBQ Chicken Smile Mar 18, 2011

I have tried this stall several times before.

The same food item is the BBQ chicken (half chicken) that have tried costs $4.50.

Note that the rice is not the normal white type.

The BBQ is already cooked but will be re-heat in a microwave oven.

Hence, it is very surprising that the meat is still very tender still.
The chili match the chicken and rice very well.

Whole chicken cost $8 for both fried and BBQ.

Economical Rice Smile Mar 18, 2011

I noticed that only 1 scope is used for every dish in this stall.

It is very popular during lunch time and the queue can be very long.

They give rice like no need money.
By default, the rice will be $0.40 so you have to inform them ‘less rice’ then will become $0.30

My order is 2 meat and 2 vegetables at the price of $3.
The meat is pork liver and kong bao chicken

The liver is amazing tender, cooked to perfection
