BBQ Seafood OK Mar 21, 2011

Categories : Singaporean | Chinese | Hawker Centre | Seafood | BBQ

Serving of Gong Gong was not very big. SGD8.00 per plate. We actually expected more to be served to us.

As for the BBQ Stingray at SGD10.00, it was good! Quite a big piece and I like the chilli on top. However, this stall didn't put onions on top of the Stingray when other stalls would normally put. Thus, we went back to the stall and requested for some onion to be given to us so we were given a small bowl of onion to do it ourselves and put it on top of the Stingray. The taste improved after that.

Colourful Tang Yuan! Smile Mar 21, 2011

Well, I don't think everyone will like this but as for me, I like it very much!

IT'S A BOWL OF COLOURFUL TANG YUAN WITH NO FILLINGS IN IT!

Selling at SGD2.00 per bowl. It's sooooo worth it and I will always order this as a dessert or even main course when I visit the Lagoon.

The auntie who is selling the desserts is very friendly too! A rather healthy dessert I should say.

Auntie Anne’s Pretzel Smile Mar 21, 2011
Ever tried Auntie Anne’s Pretzel?

Try walking along Suntec Basement 1 and yes, just right beside the escalator, you can find Auntie Anne's! Don't worry, you won't be afraid of not being able to find this stall because the awesome smell coming out from the stall will definitely attract you and stop you from walking any further. And yes, this is how good Auntie Anne's Pretzel is!

If you are new to this, let me recommend you to start off with the original. It's SGD2.30 for one and I'm sure you will be back to get your second piece smile

Kimuchi Ramen OK Mar 20, 2011

Categories : Japanese | Restaurant | Sushi/Sashimi | Kids-Friendly

For a bowl of Kimuchi Ramen, it costs SGD9.99. Quite reasonable.

It came in a big bowl and the serving itself was quite big. Taste wise, rather normal. The soup base was quite sour as I believed it was because of the Kimchi.

Basically, a mixture of Japanese & Korean cuisine. JK food lovers should order this! Worth it.

Weekday Dinner Smile Mar 20, 2011

SGD36 for a plate of Chilli Crab. I fount it reasonable and the crab meat was firm and sweet.

Overall, I was satisfied with both the taste and the price from all the dishes that we've ordered.

I would give 2 thumbs up for their excellent service! Waitresses were very caring and friendly.

If you're staying around Sengkang/Buangkok area, you gotta try this out! It's just a 2 minutes' walk from Buangkok MRT station.
