THE BEST THAT I'VE EVER HAD - Meng Kee Satay Bee Hoon!

Try the gravy and you will love it for the next 20 years! Trust me! You can't possibly find such cheap & wonderful food in Singapore anymore!

The stall opens at 6pm daily except every Tuesday.

PS: To all food lovers, be prepared to queue for at least 15 minutes if you reach there after 6pm.

BUT IT'S QUEUEING UP, REALLY! smile

Craving for seafood today?

Walk along East Coast Park Seafood Centre and you'll find your way to Red House!

They serve quality seafood and you can never imagine how fresh they are.

Steamed Scottish Razor Clam with Minced Garlic and Sri Lanka Chilli Crab are my favourite! It smells good when the Steamed Clam has been served to us and don't forget to order some man tous to go with the Chilli Crab!

Affordable & Delicious Thai Food! Smile Mar 14, 2011

Looking for a place where you can find affordable and delicious Thai Food in the East of Singapore? This is the place where you can consider having your dinner at!

Fried Tofu with Golden Mushroom is a must to order whenever I visit this place! The tofu they served over here are really smooth. A must try if you're there!

Tom Yum Soup was at the losing end today. What I normally ordered was Tom Yum Soup in red soup base but as for today, because my friend wanted to try something new, we had it in white soup base and it didn't taste as good as the red soup base which I normally had. It wasn't spicy at all. Thus, if you are those chilli lovers like me, try not to order the Tom Yum Soup that comes in white soup base.

The Pad Thai was a bit too moist today. Not that great but still acceptable. Perhaps they should add in peanuts on top of the noodles too.

ThaiPan Fried Rice is my favourite! The frangrance that came out from the rice was simply lovely. Just like Pad Thai, ThaiPan Fried Rice has a big serving too!

Overall, an excellent place to have your dinner there. It was almost full house today so I would suggest to people who are planning to go there after reading my food review to call and make a reservation first.

Korean Cuisine OK Mar 14, 2011

At Ju Shin Jung, they offer set lunch at SGD9.90++ everyday and there are a few choices of dishes for you to choose from.

What really attracts me at Ju Shin Jung is their side dishes. You can just keep refilling your plate of Kimchi, Seaweed & etc. It's free of charge!

All price at SGD9.90++, we had Bibimbap, Spicy Chicken Soup & Grilled Saba Fish.

The Bibimbap was served hot & was quite tasty. However, more sauce should be given cos it was kind of dry after mixing everything up.

On the other hand, the Spicy Chicken Soup was not that awesome afterall. Just a bowl of soup with not much ingredients in it. Soup base wasn't that fantastic too.

Lastly, leave the last for the best, the Grilled Saba Fish was nicely done up. My parents each ordered one for themselves and enjoyed the grilled fish very much! It wasn't being overcooked, the fish was fresh and its skin was very crispy.

Hawaiian Pork Chop OK Mar 13, 2011

Categories : American | Restaurant | Kids-Friendly

Although it may seems weird placing pineapple together with the pork chop but what I have got to say is that it turns out really well and the pork chop is really tender!

I can't really remember how much a plate of this costs but from my memory, it's around SGD12+ and I really like it.

However, one sad thing was that the potato was very bitter which I didn't find out from the waitress why was that so. Overall, not a bad choice.
