Delicious chwee kueh Smile Jan 20, 2013

Categories : Singaporean Chinese | Hawker Centre

I love chwee kueh especially those with lots of fried turnip and chilli to compliant the otherwise plain chwee kueh. The key ingredient that makes or break the chwee kueh got to be the fried turnip.this stall's kueh is not only soft but when it is accompanied with the fried turnip, it is just pure goodness! The fried turnips have a traditional taste to them and it is really fragrant.

Really good Roti Prata Smile Jan 20, 2013

Categories : Indian | Restaurant

Know for being the best roti Prata, Casuarina curry has definitely not failed to deliver. Their Prata is crispy and it is just so good with the curry especially if it is just freshly cooked. The teh Tarik is also very nice and I love the aroma of the tea and milk. In addition, we are able to see how the pratas are being made and cooked. Although the environment is not really that great, the Prata was awesome!

pontian noodles needs no introduction as it is widely known for its good taste and fabulously cooked noodles that are well cooked. love the fried wantons here at pontian which is really fragrant and is cooked on the spot when an order is placed. although the portion is small, it is substantial. love the char siew too which is sweet and not too fatty. Great bowl of noodles that are affordable too.

The pork ribs here at Ah Yat is really delicious as the pork rib is covered with honey and the pork is sweet tto the taste. the pork rib is also not too fatty and the meat is really tender. love the combination of the sauce and the pork and the whole dish was just so flavorful and deliccious.would have no problem going for second helpings if there were more to spare!!! fried rice with silver fish was also really good as the rice was aromatic and so delicious with or without the addition of green chilli.

Cheesy Smile May 30, 2013

cheese is the perfect ingredient that not only binds other ingredients together but it also adds another flavor and texture to the dish. Love the cheesy tofu here at nara and the tofu is really fragrant and it is slightly burned, giving the tofu a really delicious taste. The cheese on top which is mixed with some kind of sauce is really good and would keep wanting you to eat more. The sashimi here are also quite fresh and is worth eating. The sashimi pieces are sliced quite thicky. Set meals are available here and are quite worth the money.
