Japanese ice cream Smile Jun 10, 2013

ice cream here at nana's green tea is really just delicious. tried their best seller ice cream and there is only one word to describe it. SHIOK!!! love the green tea matcha ice cream and the red bean paste. The mocha balls added also adds a nice chewiness to the ice cream and the green tea jelly at the bottom of the glass adds a different, lighter texture to this great treat. Love it and would be going back for more!

baked rice Smile Jun 04, 2013

Laksania offers a range of different food consisting of the local delight-Laksa! Tried the baked rice here and it is not bad. Love how the cheese oozes with every scoop of the rice. The rice has a strong lakse aroma and is really delicious with the cheese. There is slight laksa gravy in the rice making the rice moist and so delicious. worth a try as it is quite unique. prices are affordable and worth the money.

dou hua Smile Jun 04, 2013

Love dou hua and this branch of dou hua is really delicious and smooth. Love the aroma of the yellow beans and the silkiness and smoothness of the dou hua with each spoon taken. The beancurd comes in different flavors such as original, almond, pandan, mango. Had the almond and the original one and they were both not bad although the almond one did not taste very strong. dou hua here is affordable and is worth the money for such a good bowl of silky goodness.

Tried the dim sum here at Tong Xing Ju Special Shanghai Dim sum and i must say it was not too bad. The har gaw consisted of a really fresh and large prawn which was cooked perfectly. Love it that the har gaw skin is not too thick and that the prawn is fresh. Other dim sum such as the beancurd skin was good as it was crispy and very fragrant. the banana and prawn roll was good too.Prices here are quite affordable and is worth the money. Quality of foos is not bad!

Jap food Smile May 31, 2013

Decided to eat healthy for the day and so i chose the sashimi salad which was really good. Love that the salad had lots of sashimi in it. Sashimi was fresh and it included tuna and salmon fish. Fish roe was also added to the salad and the fresh greens were nice with the salad dressing(light japanese soya sauce ). Also had the hot pot to share which was great as the shabu shabu sauce made the pork more delicious and loved the fact of the amount of vegetables found inside the hot pot.
