nice indian meals OK Aug 23, 2012

Categories : Indian | Vegetarian

the portions are not huge but because the set comes with so many little bits of everything, it makes a huge meal. The flavours are very rich and the food itself is very rich, so it was hard to finish the entire set. There're so many little bits of everything to try, it was pretty fun and interesting. The items were not hot, so they must have been cooked and left sitting there for awhile. Service isn't very friendly. They make terrible teas. I was surprised that even their masala tea was very bad! They coffee was awful.

still not good sushi Cry Aug 23, 2012

Categories : Japanese | Sushi/Sashimi

I miss the days of Genki sushi. For conveyor belt sushi, this place is pretty bad. Just could not taste an real Japanese flavour, no umami, no freshness. The sushi rice did not taste top quality either. There is very limited variations to choose from and there is an ala carte menu you can order from. The conveyor belt is more of a gimmick here - something to occupy your time while you wait for yoru orders from the menu. even the ala carte items were pretty bland and lacklustre.

nice burgers Smile Aug 23, 2012

The burgers are surprisingly good. Was expecting worse as previously we tried them when they first opened and it wasn't good. The buns seemed to be baked fresh in store as you can see the chef rolling the dough and putting them in an oven. The meat is done just right and not heavy on fillers. The overall make up is great. Service is efficient as well. The iced water tasted very chlorinated. The green tea was Chinese green tea bags in hot water.

great bubble tea Smile Aug 23, 2012

This is still in my top 2 places for bubble tea in Singapore. The roselle bubbles are fantastic and taste much better than the regular black bubbles. The tea here is very well balanced and the roselle bubbles make the entire drink an absolute heaven. you can adjust you sugar levels and also add more bubbles. Service is quick and efficient and polite. They always understand what I want, unlike at Koi or Gong Cha, where the staff never seem to understand what I want!

nice japanese Smile Aug 23, 2012

Nice Japanese food here. The quality has gone down a bit recently. And they are always out of chawanmushi lately. It's quite a popular stall. The curry is nice and sweet and not overly soupy. There are nice potato chunks and some small chunks of meat. The rice is nice done short grain. the miso soup used to be better as well. We usually come to this stall in this food court as most of the other stalls are below standard.
