simple thai Cry Oct 20, 2012
Categories : Thai | Food Court

the flavours of the thai curry here is too simple. we're used to more complex flavours. there is so much chillies in this green curry they might as well call it chilli curry. they dumped whole red chillies in there. not much vegetables - i can count it all on one hand. the gravy was super spicy. so spicy that you can't taste anything but chilli. there was only a couple of pieces of chicken in there. the rice was unflavourful but neccessary or the spiciness might kill us. about $6

great bubble tea Smile Oct 20, 2012

Categories : Taiwanese | Bubble Tea/ Tea

one of the best bubble teas in singapore. love the white bubbles which are tapioca and not yoghurt! very perfect chewiness and no mushiness. the tea itself is very fragrant and very very good. just enough milk and sugar to make the drink complete. i could drink this all day! generous serving size. every drink quality is consistent. however, i haven't figured out how to put the straw into the cup without spilling drink everywhere. about $2.50

custard bun Cry Oct 20, 2012
Categories : Food Court | Juices

would not get custard buns here again. on the menu it seems like it's a lava custard bun but when you get it, it is a solid paste custard which tasted like the fridge. it is not made fresh and is reheated. at 12 noon the foods were not even ready for sale! i had to wait to get this reheated bun. service was poor. the pastry of the bun was dry and tasteless. the custard was like some yellow weird paste. about $3

pasta OK Oct 20, 2012
Categories : Australian / New Zealand

the pancetta in this pasta had some off smell. didn't really like it. but the creaminess of the sauce was great. love the mushrooms and the pasta which is cooked nicely and not too soft or hard. the overall dish is a bit salty, probably to counteract the creaminess. the wait for the food can take a while. service is lacklustre and slow. it's a good location to people watch. as the service was so slow, we cancelled our dessert orders. about $22

biryani Smile Oct 20, 2012

this stall doesn't open very much and when they do, they seem to sell out very quickly so we were lucky to have got a plate of the biryani. they mostly only sell biryani here. the chicken meat is big and generous and very nicely spiced. the plates are greasy and not very clean. the rice itself is very fragrant and good. although the rice is a bit too oily. best eaten with hot tea. about $5
