Lor Mee Cry Sep 16, 2013

When I went to Hong Lim Complex Food Centre, I had noticed this Ma Po Lor Mee stall at level two.

I had ordered a Fish Lor Mee.

From the dish, I think it looked the same. With ingredients such as Wu Xiang, braised pork, fried fish and fish cake.

The Lor Mee gravy tasted quite average, it looked dark but tasted only vinegar.

The noodles was slightly over cooked. I can taste the "yellowish" in the noodles.

Beef Noodles Cry Sep 16, 2013

I was delighted that there was another Beef Noodle stall opening at Western area of Singapore.

This beef noodle stall that was opened was from a famous stall at Cuppage centre.

There was a long queue at this stall, maybe because it was from a famous branch.

The beef noodle set came with a bowl of beef balls soup.

The gravy of the beef noodles looked dark but when you tasted, it was quite bland and lack of flavour.

The beef was over cooked, the meat was tough and hard to chew.

The only nice thing was the beef ball. It tasted homemade full of beef flavour, different from the bouncy packaged ones.

Spending per head: Approximately $6(Lunch)

Pepper Nuggets Cry Sep 16, 2013

At Jurong Point, the queues at Popeyes like never ending, stretch until the bridge, so when I saw the queue was short, I quickly went to order.

I had ordered Pepper Chicken Nuggets.

The Pepper Chicken Nuggets came with a special yellowish sauce in the box.

The sauce tasted super super spicy! I think the sauce was made of mustard.

The Pepper Chicken Nuggets were quite disappointing. The chicken meat they used was breast meat. It was quite dry and tough to chew on.

Spending per head: Approximately $5(Tea)

My second visit to this Eat At Taipei, I had decided to order another menu other than their popular Taiwan Street Snacks.

I had ordered Braised Mince Meat Noodle. Normally Braised Mince Meat would be with rice, but this menu it was with noodles.

There were generous vege in this bowl of noodles and also braised mince meat.

The braised mince meat taste quite rough, I would prefer them to use more fatty meat.

The noodle was white round noodle, something you see at Ban Mian stall.

The noodle was disappointing, it stick together like a dough.

Overall, I would not be ordering this menu again.

Spending per head: Approximately $10(Dinner)

Charbroiled BBQ Chicken Cry Sep 16, 2013

I had bought takeaway of Carl Jr Burger again.

This time I ordered Charbroiled BBQ Chicken.

I do not know the different between Charboiled and Grilled, since they looked similar.

The bread they used was different, there was some cereal on top of the bread.

The chicken patty used was breast meat.

Eventhough the cooking method was Charboiled, it does not helps the dryness and the roughness of the breat meat.

The whole burger tasted quite dry which was not my liking.
