Princess Cake Cry Sep 14, 2013

Ikea Cafe sells very nice food and was very popular with locals, always there was long queue at any time of the day.

Today, my stomach a bit full, so decided just to order some sides.

I bought a Pink Princess Cake.

The appearance looked very cute and nice.

But when you first bite, the pink outer layer was a sugar icing layer, then there was white whipped cream and then the cake.

The cake layer was quite rough and you thought that "Angmo" cake should be soft and fluffy.

Overall, the Princess cake was too sweet for my liking.

Oyster Mee Sua Cry Sep 14, 2013

This Eat at Taiwan eatery always had a queue during meal times.

I always had my Taiwan snacks at Shilin Taiwan Kiosk. So I decided to give this restaurant a try.

I had ordered Taiwan Oyster Mee Sua, the menu shown its a all time favourite.

When the dish arrived, I was kind of disappointed.

At $7 for this Oyster Mee Sua, you would expect to be a big bowl or with many osyters.

However, all I can see was only less than five osyters.

The mee sua tasted like bee hoon in soup, not to my liking.

Chocolate Soya Milk Ice Cream Cry Sep 14, 2013

I am a fan of Mr Bean Soya Milk Ice Cream. Everytime when I passby Mr Bean, I will surely buy their Soya Milk ice cream to enjoy, even on raining days.

Sometimes, Mr Bean does have some strange Ice Cream flavours offerings. This time is Chocolate Soya Milk Ice Cream.

From the appaerance, the chocolate soya milk ice cream looked like McDonald's Chocolate Soft served ice cream.

However, when you eat the Chocolate Soya Milk ice cream, you will find a bit of strange taste. The chocolate tasted liked milo and there was also soya milk taste.

I think I better sticked to normal orginal soya milk flavour.

Beef Steak Cry Sep 14, 2013   (Related Review)

Tanglin Halt Western Food Stall not only sells cheap chicken chop menus but also their Beef Steak is quite cheap.

When the dish came, I was quite disappointed with the beef meat serving. The beef meat was quite small in size.

Although the beef steak smelled good, the meat was however tough and chewy.

They used the same sauce for the beef steak as for the Chicken Chop. Though good for French Fries and grilled chicken chop, it was quite strange to have sweet & sour sauce for beef meat.

BlackBall Signature Crushed Ice Cry Sep 13, 2013

Categories : Taiwanese | Chinese Desserts | Bubble Tea/ Tea

I had heard from my friends that taiwanese dessert was such a fave nowadays.

So when I passby this Blackball outlet, I decided to went to a try.

The menu was extensive, and so was the prices.

I ordered the all time famous shown in the menu, BlackBall Signature Crushed Ice at $4.90.

There was more crushed ice than ingredients in the bowl. The crushed ice was quite tough and rough, making it hard to bite.

The grass jelly had a springy bite and was herbal.

The taro and radish balls were quite disappointing, I can only see different colour but cannot actually tasted the difference.
