Curry Chicken Bun Cry Oct 05, 2013
Categories : Japanese | Bakery | Café

While I was shopping at Holland Village, I walked pass a bakery which was crowded with people buying their buns. Hence, I went in to have a look.

I bought their curry chicken buns, since many people were choosing their wide varieties of fried buns.

The price was also on the high side at $1.70 each.

The curry chicken bun had a very crispy outer skin, even though it was already more than an hour when I reached home to taste.

Though the outer skin looked tasty, inside taste was slightly opposite.

The curry chicken fillings had a dull colour, so was the taste. The filling was low in curry flavour and aroma, slightly on the bland side.

Spending per head: Approximately $2(Tea)

Teriyaki Beef Bento Cry Sep 16, 2013

Many of my friends recommended this Japanese Eatery at West Mall.

So I decided to try their bento. I had ordered Teriyaki Beef Bento.

The teriyaki Beef Bento comes with a half boiled egg.

The beef meat tasted quite artifical.

I am not sure whether I am eating beef meat. I think they put too much tenderiser into the meat marinated until the meat was soft and bland.

Spending per head: Approximately $8(Dinner)

Junior Bacon Cheese Burger Cry Sep 16, 2013

I always passby Wendy's and saw their advertisement on the Bacon Cheese Burger.

So I decided to order a takeaway for my dinner.

When I opened the Bacon Cheese Burger, I was quite surpised to see there was so much fats in the Turkey Bacon.

The beef patty looked dry and tasted tender also.

The overall taste of the Bacon Cheese Burger even with the pickles and cheese inside, was still quite dry and hard.

Kacang Pool  Cry Sep 16, 2013

I always saw Kacang Pool dishes selling at Malaysia. But never did I know there was any stall in Singapore selling.

This Stall at Eunos Food Centre sells this Kacang Pool.

Their Kacang Pool was slightly different as comapred to Malaysia.

In Singapore, the bread used was French Bread.

The Kacang Pool gravy was also with little meat and beans. It was quite salty even when you eat with the bread dipped into the gravy.

I would still prefer Malaysia ones though.

Chilli Wagyu Beef Burger Cry Sep 16, 2013

I have not eaten MOS Burger for quite a long time, maybe more than a year.

Hence I decided to order a Wagyu Beef Burger.

One strange thing about their Wagyu Beef menu, they only have Chilli Wagyu Beef Burger.

I do not remember eating Chilli Burger before in MOS Burger.

When the Chilli Wagyu Beef Burger burger came, the outlook of the burger looked similar to MOS Cheese Burger. I wonder did they give me the wrong burger.

When I first bite, the red paste was really Chilli paste, not tomato paste. It was really spicy for someone who do not usually take Chilli.

The beef meat was very soft like tofu, I wonder was it vegetarian meat. No beef flavour taste or smell.

Overall, I would say order normal beef burger better, can save $4.

Spending per head: Approximately $11(Lunch)
