During lunch time at Morganfield's, there are some very value set meals on the menu.

Today, I had ordered a Tequilia Spiked Chicken set. The set included unlimited drinks, a green salad and a main.

The salad had balsamic vinegar to go with the greens. The greens were very fresh and crispy.

When the Tequilia Spiked Chicken came to my table, I could smell the heavy grilled aroma. The chicken skin tasted very well seasoned with herbs. The chicken skin tasted very meaty, tender and juicy, I thought the chicken was steamed.

The French Fries tasted good also, crispy on outside and seasoned well with pepper and salt.

Overall, I would say this grilled chicken was much better tasted than Nando's ones, even the price was also cheaper!

When you think of Swensen's , you will probably think of American styles ice cream and beef menus. Nevery would anyone think of Chicken Bugers.

I had ordered their Chicken Burger today.

I was very surprised, there was so many grilled meat in between the burger bread. There should be more meat than any Chicken Chop.

The meat was grilled to perfection. You would actually eat the meat instead of the bread.

It was more worth than ordering their chicken chop.

Ordered a normal char siew ramen with normal soup, normal oil and normal thickness. The noodles was springy, not too dry or too soggy. The soup taste good. The soup was not bitter as compared to other ramen outlets. The soup has many chicken fats instead of pork lard. The Char Siew was slightly dry but fatty. The char siew was good with soup and noodles. The char siew does not have frozen taste.

I always thought that MK Restaurant only sells Steamboat until I walked pass one weekend Lunch and say MK Restaurant also selling Set Lunch at affordable prices. I ordered the Roasted Duck Set at $6.99. 

The presentation of the Roasted Duck Rice was grand, with separate bowl of gravy. The Roasted Duck smelt good with charred skin aroma. The duck skin was crispy but not fatty while duck meat was tender and moist. 

I liked the special gravy for the roasted duck. The gravy was not the same as local roasted duck stalls. The special gravy was not thicken with cornstarch. It had a fermented bean taste and mild salty with a hint of lime skin. 

The staff in this restaurant was friendly and attentive, when I had used up all the gravy, the staff came over to refill the gravy.

Overall, I liked the Roast Duck from MK Restaurant, the Roasted Duck meat had the same good taste despite being leaner in the meat.

The weather was hot and humid, hence I wanted to buy a drink to cool myself. I passby this Fruiti kiosk and ordered the Avocado Power with honey drink.

I saw the staff freshly cut the Avocado into pieces and then blend the fruit with honey and ice, no water added. Hence, the wait was about 5 minutes for the drink.

The Avocado Power juice tasted very creamy with right amount of sweetness. The juice tasted somewhat like a milk shake. 

Overall, I liked the Avocado Power Juice as I could taste the real Avocado in the juice, definitely worth the price. Unlike Starbucks which uses flavoured syrup for their iced blend fruit juice.
