disappointing food! Cry Apr 23, 2014

Categories : Japanese | Pasta

There wasn't much crowd in the restaurant on a weekday night despite the other restaurants having long queue so we tried this place. Ordered the carbonara and it was disappointing. Service was slow and it took about 20 minutes before it came. The sauce was too watery and there wasn't much taste at all. There wasn't much ingredients inside and it looked a little different from the picture in the menu.

Ordered sashimi plate as well and the sashimi just came in with 4 small pieces. Didn't taste that fresh either.

not so authentic hk food OK Apr 20, 2014

Ordered the chicken baked rice here and it was a little disappointing for the taste. The chicken was a bit burned and the carrots were a bit hard and uncooked. Cheese were alot though so it will be good for cheese lovers! The gst and service charge is included in the price in the menu though. Tried the wanton noodles as well and it wasn't really very authentic hk food. Soup that came with the bake rice tasted good though with carrots, wintermelon and mushroom inside.

love their waffles! Smile Apr 20, 2014

The waffle here was really good when it is hot! I always order the chocolate waffle and they always cooked it well since it was timed well. Chocolate flows out from the waffle all the time and  melts in your mouth! The chocolate's sweetness is just right, not so sweet or not so bitter. This is a good snack if you are hungry or just would like to grab something to bite.

Strong tea flavour Smile Apr 20, 2014

Ordered Gong cha coffee and it was awesome! The foamy creamy on top fits well with the coffee when it is mixed well. The coffee tasted good with 30% sugar level so it wasn't that sweet. Will definitely order again! There is 10% off for ntuc link members too!

Tried the earl grey milk tea as well with pudding and it suited perfect for my taste due to the strong tea flavour plus the soft pudding mixed with it that you don't even need to waste energy to chew.

Awesome Japanese dessert! Smile Apr 20, 2014

The dessert here are just simply awesome! I always order Little Fuji and Matcha Latte, or sometimes with Choco Cro. These are the must try here! Matcha Latte has a strong matcha taste so tastes really well for non-coffee lovers like me. Little Fuji is perfect for sharing with another person. The crust is well baked and crunchy topped with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce.

Tried the chocolate and banana fuji as well but I think the Original little fuji tastes much better due to the sweet caramel sauce scattered over the croissant.
