The place we went were the Canopy green dining & bar

and is was quite hidden in the BISHAN PARK


When one stepped into the dining place, you can feel the greeness around you ....

it really gives a peace and calmful feeling ...

Besides, there's a SPA behind the restaurant so my friend and i were thinking ...hmmm..it must be a good place for RELAXATION !!!

Well , let's talk about the food ...

ALL the dishes were so delicious !!

I recommend one to try their Green Curry Pasta, it is not really CURRY as what i have thought initially, instead, the chef made good use of the spices and herbs to create the sauce.

The apple duck salad is another must try dish , a very good combination of fruit and meat ...hmm...CRUNCHY + TENDER

It is also a very good place for celebration to be happened here! beside, they also have live performance by thebands ! "Clap" Clap"

To people out there who enjoy greenery and good food..you wiil not want to miss out this CANOPY Green Dinning & Bar !

Even though i am not a Hakka, i like the Thunder Tea Rice alot !!!

And I am overjoyed when i found that this stall here sells Thunder Tea Rice.

Even though it is abit pricy which cost $4.50 per bowl.

But the rice and the tea is very very tasty. The auntie is also very generous to give a lot of vegetables . which i think all this services and environment have compensate for the price.

Other than the thunder tea rice, i also recommend their seafood hotpot that i always ordered and share with my sister.

A craving for kway teow as dinner, thus decided to packet the duck kway teow from Wei Aik Boneless Duck.

Similar with the roasted meat store, this store has also been operating for ten over years.

The store is famous for its boneless duck rice, the rice is the yam rice which they called it as " Black rice" in Chinese.

One plate of duck rice is sold at only $2.50.

Beside the duck meat, one can add on beancurd or egg for addtional 50 cents

For people that don't fancy the rice, you may want to try the Kway Teow which is simply as good as the duck rice.

hint: try to go before 7.30 pm, as usually by 8pm the "black rice" will be sold out.

Didn't know Hiang Ji Roasted meat & Noodle House is kind of 'Famous' store at Toa Payoh.

As my friend and I were there by chance and decided to settle our dinner at toa payoh, it was around 8pm when we patronised so there isn't crowd or I would say hmm no people there actually.

The duck meat tasted really good however the price is abit too pricey i feel. The service was quite bad and the boss seemed t be a little impatient perhaps because I requested my duck meat to be changed to egg and tofu.

Nevertheless, the food tasted good. But if you are those that are particular about service, maybe you would like to think twice.

I like to patronise the pasta mania here as it was not really crowded during lunch time. The services by the staff is good as order was taken efficiently.

However, the only bad point about the store here is the serving time which seem to be taking abit too long as compared to other pastamania outlet stores. Sometimes, i can wait for my friend's food till my food is cold no joke.

Thus, apart from the waiting time for food. The rest is ok.
And people who feel like having some soupy stuff, apart from the soup of the day, i do recommend you to order this dory fish spaghetti that served as a soup spaghetti. A good meal for rainy day that keeps your stomach warm .
