So... decided to satisfy my craving for Pontian Wanton noodles after so long... The standard serving of Pontian Wanton noodels comes with char siew, wanton, vegetables on top of its bouncy and firm noodles. The char siew is thinly-sliced, which makes it easy to bite, though was too dry. The wanton was quite small and lack substantial bite, but its filling is quite tasty. It's not too bad after all. Besides its springy noodles, the winning edge is in its noodle-sauce combination. Customers can either choose to put black sauce/chill sauce/both. The combination of both black and chili sauce blends well into the noodles to give customers its ultimate taste!

Greeted by a new canteen after the 3 month-long vacation, I was awed by the wide selection of cuisine offered by Koufu which replaced the old canteen B. Attracted by the aromatic Nasi Lemak stall, I decided to give it a first try! Nasi Lemak Set - $3.50

The Nasi Lemak set comes with a roasted drumstick, an egg, a fish, and a slice of cucumber. The rice is quite fragrant, which appeals to most customers. However, the chicken and egg taste too dry when eaten plainly. It'd be good to ask for some curry gravy so that it's more tasty!

For such a big portion of nasi lemak at $3.50, it's quite filling to the stomach and I think it's rather worth the price. It's wise to buy during non-peak hours as the staffs are usually quite slow and result in long queue during peak hours.

Here comes the "atas" chicken rice...Great packaging leaves great impression. But that's a price to pay for. And that's $7 for a packet of chicken rice.

Personally, I feel that it's totally not worth it. The grains of rice may be very fragrant and smells different from the other, but the chicken is not tender and smooth at all. It's quite stiff, and makes chewing not so pleasing to the teeth. So it's not really worth it to spend $7 for a packet of chicken rice at MBS Food Court. The rent is quite high, which explains for the pricey food court.

As a broccoli lover, I love such dishes. The combination of carrot, mushroom and broccoli - bland but healthy!Steamed prawn with nonya sauce delight

The sauce that goes together with the prawn is quite appetizing which you kind of addicted to it. Awesome!Fried fish special

The fish skin is rather cirspy, but abit dry, and topped off with a special kind of sauce. Not too bad though.

OVERALL
Kim's kitchen provide a special rectangular kind of box which is stronger and durable compared to the normal containers we see outside. However, when the food is oily, it's quite hard to wash it clean.

This is abit too oily and salty, though the taste is good. The duck meat is smooth and tender, and could taste the fragrance of the braised duck.Popcorn Chicken Delight

I like the sweet and sour sauce that goes along with the popcorn chicken. Tasty!Mixed Veggie with Chicken Slice

I dislike eating such vegetables. So naturally, these kind of vegetables does not appeal to me at all. The sliced chicken is abit hard to chew on as well.

OVERALL
What I like about Kim's Kitchen is that they have a wide variety of dishes every day. Unlike some other caterers, the chef of Kim's Kitchen is creative enough to come up with different menu everyday, which makes dinner worth looking forward to!
