Fine Dinning  Smile Feb 21, 2013

One of my all-time favourite for desert in Tung Lok. It includes a scoop of vanilla ice-cream, some small mango slices, and sago 'wrapped' around by a coconut. The price for this desert is about $10 or lesser if I'm not wrong. Cant rmb the exact price though. ><

Service is generally good here as the staffs are quite friendly and polite. Besides, ambience is always soothing and it's a great place for get-together! Overall, dinning in Tung Lok Signatures may slightly be pricey as it focus mainly on fine dining. For those who are tight on budget, you can try the rest of Tung Lok outlets (Tung Lok Classics/Tung Lok Seafood), which offers slightly cheaper menu..

Arteastiq is a ideal place to sit down, chit chat and chill out for an afternoon tea! It offers many types of tea for one to indulge in, where each of them has its own unique presentation. There are also lots of food/deserts/light snacks for you to choose from. From cakes, pancakes. sandwiches to salads. I personally love the ambience as it's a tranquil and peaceful place for one to unwind and relax while indulging in the awesome food. Beside the tea boutique is a art-room for art lovers to pen down their creative drawings, at a affordable rent rate. On a side-note, the queue gets long during afternoon tea, normally during weekends. So it's wise to get there early and book a seat before they are filled up!

Seafood meal  OK Dec 31, 2013

FOOD
Seafood Platter

Seafood Platter

My first time trying out its seadfood platter. The serving for seafood platter is quite big, and is ideally for two. It comes with butter prawns, crispy fish and chips, french fries, sotong, mussels and its fragrant rice. I like the prawn and the sotong such that they have some kind of BBQ taste which makes its taste great. The rice is also awesome when mix with some tar tar sauce or chilli sauce. The fish is also quite crispy, but best with spread with some ounce of lemon. The mussels, however, have some sort of "fishy" smell which make me lose my appetite for it.

AMBIENCE

The outlet is quite small and crowded. Quite a noisy place as well.

SERVICE

Their service is generally acceptable, but the food takes quite a long time to come.

Teriyaki Chicken Don

Teriyaki Chicken Don

This teriyaki chicken don comes with 5 pieces of fried chicken, small portion of chawanmushi (Japanese steamed egg), slice of cabbage, and is topped off with their speciality teriyaki sauce and some slices of seaweed. I personally like the sweet-salty teriyaki sauce that tastes rather good when eaten together with the fried chicken. However, the chicken is not that crispy and tender. It could be better if it's more crispy.

Dumpling Noodle OK Dec 28, 2013

Dumpling Noodle

Dumpling Noodle

Qiu Lian Ban Mian is famous for its bouncy noodles and tasty bowl of soup. But I guess it has franchise everywhere such that the taste in different outlet is different. For this dumpling noodle at Kopitiam Square, the soup is abit bland, but the dumpling is rather big and tasty, where it has sufficient amount of jiu cai which makes it tasty. However, $5 for such a bowl of noodle is quite expensive.
