My favourite desert of St Marc - Little Fuji. So it's actually a croissant topped off with vanilla ice cream, caramel and some tiny nuts. the combination is just perfect, especially when the sweet piping hot caramel croissant meets the freezing cold vanilla ice-cream.The chocolate and strawberry croissants taste good too, but not that crispy as Little Fuji, which is a little disappointing. The chocolate croissant cost $2.40 while that of strawberry costs 20 cents more, at a price of $2.60Their ice chocolate tastes great too! Thick blended chocolate with ice compliment well with the sweet deserts.

Located at a small corner of Marina Square, St Marc Cafe is just like any other coffeehouse where one can sit down and chill with family/friends, with its awesome deserts. It's not very spacious and its seats are limited. So do expect full house during the weekends.

Si Chuan Dou Hua is a perfect place to have an afternoon tea with friends and just watch the world roll by... Being situated on high floor, one can admire the beautiful landscape of Singapore while having tea and chilling out. A quiet and peaceful place to calm your nerves and relax. Recommended to go during weekdays afternoon as it's really deserted. Bookings are advised to made early if you plan to go there during weekend afternoon.

PRICE
The high tea is priced at $20++ per person. It has 2 kind of teas, 8-9 type of dim sums, and it's quite filling to the stomach. It's considered cheap especially it offers good view and great food. What's more to ask for?

After sending off a friend at the airport, I went for a weekend brunch at Astons Specialities, reminiscing the great dining experience I had at other Astons' outlets.

FOODHaving missed their black pepper fish for a long time, I decided to order it. However, it was disappointing as the taste wasn't as good as it used to be, and the portion of fish seems to shrink as compared to the past. Furthermore, the grilled fish tasted bitter and wasn't very tasty when eaten with the gravy. The two sides are Onion Rings and Coleslaw. The glass of ice-lemon tea was too sweet. Great. Not very noisy as compared to other outlets.

Pretty fast and efficient. There was not much of a queue when I dined at about 12pm which was a surprise!

FOODServed in their speciality prawn broth, this bowl of prawn noodles is served with with fresh prawns, hard-boiled egg, bean sprouts and water spinach. Their soup is really awesome! Definitely one of the best I've ever tasted. The alluring taste of the soup that lands on your taste buds just keep asking you for more!

AMBIENCE

As it was rather crowded indoors, I was offered a seat in their well-decorated outdoor section. It has a very relaxing feel, and makes you feel like sitting there for the rest of the day and just let the world go by.

The price of their food items are quite reasonable and affordable, and their food menu are all malaysian delights.

The dish comes in the form of a crepe, with roasted chicken, bacon, mushrooms wrapped in the crepe. It has some rare vegetables as its topping. The crepe itself is quite fragrant and crispy, with tender chicken and fresh butter mushrooms. It tastes awesome when served with the lemon butter sauce as it just compliment the whole dish.Hot Chocolate
