Decided to satisfy my craving for crepes and curious to find out how the Singapore crepe taste like...

My favourite combination of crepe! The crepe is quite crispy, and love the fragrance of the flour. The ham could be nicer if it were diced into cubes rather than slices, and the egg should be half-boiled kind of egg instead of being too cooked. Although it's not comparable to the crepes in france, i still enjoyed savoring it nevertheless.Potato Leek

As a soup lover, I ordered their potato soup to try. It's a very thick soup full of potato. Got sick of it when was drinking half-way through. I believe it'd taste better if they add more water to dilute the concentrated soup.

AMBIENCE

It does not really have much ambience, as the shop is quite small, and there are limited seats to it. Most people buy and take away.

SERVICE

Like those fast-food restaurants, it's a self-service kind of thing. So you order the food at the counter, get back to your seat and wait for the food to come.

Decided to try their laksa on my 2nd visit to Laksania...

The soup has a thick paste of laksa, and proportionate amount of coconut that gives the laksa its awesome taste. The ingredients in the laksa are quite ordinary though, like: fish cake, tau pok and egg.Chicken Satay with laksa sauce

Instead of the normal satay sauce, laksania has its own laksa sauce specially for satay lovers! The thick laksa sauce has a good amount of laksa paste and coconut which gives rise to the well-blended sauce, and goes well with the fragrantly-grilled satay.

OVERALL
It's one of the cheapest restaurants in NEX compared to other eateries. Also, it's not so crowded like the rest, very ideal for people who prefer quiet places. A restaurant worth dining in, especially for laksa fans!

So Ah Yat Restaurant was having a 8 dish set meal promotion at $39.90 per pax.

A herbal and healthy desert. Bird nest with almond. The almond paste was thick enough and taste just so great together with the bird nest. A nourishing dish for the skin!

SERVICE

I've always love the service in Ah Yat Restaurant. The service staffs are very polite to the customers, and will also engage in small talks to interact with the customer, ensuring that we are well and the dishes are served promptly.

AMBIENCE

It's quite quiet and peaceful. There are 2 floors. Customers can request to dine on the second storey if they prefer a more tranquil environment to dine in.

Having craving for some chinese cuisine, I stepped into Paradise Inn at NEX Shopping Centre. After battling the queue for about half an hour, I finally have the chance to rest my legs after a long day....

I like the combination of a crispy Toufu being immersed in a special sauce such that fits so perfectly on my tastebuds when eaten together with the Tofu.

It is quite busy and noisy on a Friday evening. Be there early if you want to avoid the queue or choose your seats.

SERVICE
They are generally quite efficient and good.

After referral from a friend, decided to try out KungFu Paradise's breakfast set on a weekend morning...

FOODEggs Benedict with Lemon Butter Sauce. It consists of mini burgers with bacon and poached eggs sittted on top of it. This breakfast dish comes with butter mushrooms, cherry tomatoes and some vegetables as its side. Accompanied by the tantalizing lemon butter sauce, this is a perfect hearty breakfast to kick off your day!Kay’s Breakfast Combo. This breakfast set is like any other typical american breakfast that is easily seen anywhere else. Sunny-side Eggs, bacon, Hotdog, Hashbrown, burger with butter mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, vegetables as its side. It tastes average though.

The staffs are quite friendly and helpful in accommodating our requests.
