Curry Chicken with Rice

Curry Chicken with Rice

The curry chicken looks quite appealing, but its curry is quite diluted, and does not have the rich taste of curry. Its potato is quite hard, though the chicken is quite tender and tasty. The rice, on the other hand is quite fragrant and has a rich smell of coconut, which tastes great.

Salmon Don for lunch Cry Dec 22, 2013   (Related Review)

Salmon Don

Salmon Don

The standard of this salmon don is probably below average as compared to the rest of the dishes. The grilled salmon is abit too hard and does not have the grilled taste that a grilled salmon should have. However, I like the sweet onion and egg that is spread all over the rice, which add taste to the overall salmon don.

Original Lao Ban Soya Beancurd - $1.50

Original Lao Ban Soya Beancurd - $1.50

My first time trying out the famous lao ban soya beancurd as I generally prefer those traditional type of beancurd. But it turns out to be a great experience. Lao ban beancurd is quite smooth and has that strong soya taste which makes it taste so great. However, I find it a little too sweet, but taste great.

Chicken Katsu Curry Don - $3.70

Chicken Katsu Curry Don - $3.70

This bowl of katsu curry is quite average. The curry taste not bad, and the fried chickens are quite crispy. However, they only serve like a few pieces of fried chicken and you end up eating plain rice with the curry after finishing those few pieces of chicken. They also serve a small portion of those japanese steamed egg, which is quite soft and tasty. For such an average bowl of katsu curry, $3.70 is considered quite expensive

Bubble Tea on a hot day Smile Dec 22, 2013

Yuzu Green Tea - $3.50

Yuzu Green Tea - $3.50

Savouring a cold bubble tea is a great start to a hot and sunny day! At a cost of $3.50, this yuzu green tea has a refreshing and cooling taste as it absorbs the sweet-yet-bitter taste of the yuzu, making the whole drink contains somewhat sweet and bitter. But overall, it's really a great drink that I'd definitely go for it agian!
