My family and I went there for my birthday dinner to eat dim sum.

Of course, we also ordered their baked rice/pasta and I ordered my Eel noodles which I loved! However, I think it is a bit overpriced even though the food is nice. Not sure about the original Hong Kong dim sum but personally I find their dim sum and baked pasta/rice "okay only".

It is quite a long wait for the dim sum to come and according to them, they only cook it when someone order it. So I was thinking... "Is it frozen food?" but nonetheless, the service of the waitresses is pretty good there so I didn't say anything.

We were recommended to join as a member to enjoy privileges like $15 off the bill, One-for-one treat, 10% discount and I also received a free gift for my birthday (can redeem if it's your birthday month), so yeah... I guess it was a pretty decent deal.

Price is a bit steep if you keep ordering dim sum though. Haha.

Personally, I find the food here very overrated. Even though their signature dish - Fish & Chips (or some name similar) is decent, I do not see the point of revisiting.

Lest the food, it's really difficult to eat the food in a basket because it is so difficult to cut the fish, due to the curves, especially when the fish is so soft that it keep dropping back into the basket. The food... I find that there is much better fish and chips in coffee-shop instead.

Lovely food there, no wonder it has so many branches! Their series of creamy pasta is a must try, and there is even extra cheese provided if you love a more cheesy taste. Even though the crab meat is not really tender... I love the prawns though!

I found this hidden restaurant through my friend who brought me there to try their food quite some time ago and it was awesome. Too bad there is too much construction around that area (near Chinatown point if I don't remember wrongly) when I went, so it's a little hard to find the place. The location will probably be more accessible after all the construction ends since it is very near the Tanjong Pagar MRT station too.

Despite the inconvenience, I still see the place buzzing with business (some company's dinner party I think) so that describe how good the food is.

I especially love the appetizer, it's like fried pancake but I am not sure what is the name exactly. It's totally delicious that I can finish up the whole plate as my main course. Nevertheless, the pasta is extremely gorgeous in taste. The fresh shrimps, and the milky sauce... Mmmmmmm... *wipes drool away*

My friend ordered ribs for the main course and it taste good too! Though it is not really my type of food.

The place is good for dating during dinner time and chill out at their bar area.

I ordered the Ham & Cheese breakfast set and it was damn... AWESOME!

But maybe it was raining too heavily that day that the food gets cold super easily! Anyway, the toast still taste as nice, because ham & cheese will never go wrong!

Will revisit to Coffee & Toast Branches whenever I have time. It's cheaper than Ya Kun and doesn't taste half bad.
