My friends and I were walking at Westmall and came across this small shop on the first floor. Decided to go in and try it out.

The shop is quite small but when we went in it was around 5pm so it was not crowded....thank god! There are menus for Rice and Noodle.

My friend's cousin ordered the beef udon soup, it was quite good according to her. I tried the soup and she was right, the soup was sweet. Will try this out on my next visit.

For an additional $2 u can add on Chicken Kara Age and Seasonsoned Egg with your noodle.

My friend ordered the Teriyaki Rice....which she felt it's too sweet for her liking....although I find it not bad myself.

I ordered Ginger Pork Rice....which is highly recommended. It was delicious and it comes with a half boiled egg on top.

For the price we're paying we think it's affordable and quite filling.

Spending per head: Approximately $6(Dinner)

Met up with an old friend and decided to have our brunch at Skinny Pizza one weekend. Skinny pizza serves thin crust pizzas with loads of toppings on it. Thanks to my friend, I get to know about this place which is located on the 3rd floor at Wheelock place.

Love the environment there...very cozy.

We ordered one pizza and 3 side orders of our choice.

My friend recommended this pizza with eggs, bacon, tomato and cheese.
Very sinful but loving every bite.

Next came Mashed potato....which is smooth and creamy.

The corn is nothing to shout about.

The sweet potato is delicious!!! Highly recommended to try this.

Overall it is a nice place to chill out with your friends. And the food we ordered are quite filling and sinful. But we manage to finish it up. (2 big eater we are). Its best to go in a big group so that you can order more variety.

And if you are a UOB card holder, you will get a 10% off voucher on your next visit. With the voucher, I am planning my next visit for their delicious pizza.

Koko Rooloo - Korean Cuisine  Smile Apr 16, 2012

Categories : Korean | Food Court | BBQ

My friend decided to treat me for dinner after getting her first pay. We weren’t sure where to eat and she suggested to try out this Korean cuisine which was approximately 5 minutes walking distance from Tanjong Pagar MRT.

It is a small shop and we noted that the person who works there are Korean. So I guess you can say that the food served to us is an authentic Korean food! We ordered the same set which comes with a drink (which you only need to top up $1) and a side order.

Unfortunately I can’t remember the name of this dish as I had forgotten to note down the name. My friend actually loves it but I find it unusual because it has this sticky texture when you chew on it. I only enjoyed the egg and the sauce (spicy) from this plate ($3). =p

I on the other hand enjoyed having this bowl of rice topped with mixture of topping before mixing up to eat. It’s delicious, as compared to others that I had tried in other Korean restaurant or food court. This costs $9 per bowl.

If you are a Korean fan foodie and you are staying in Tanjong Pagar, give it a try, it’s worth trying it out. =) * Big thanks to my dear friend for this lovely treat *

My mum and I decided to go to NYDC located at NovenaVelocity for dinner. We glad we did cause the food was great.

It was past 8pm so we were unable to order their set meal. Nevertheles, we decided to go ahead and order our meal as we were hungry.
My mum ordered the soup of the day @ seafood chowder. It was delicious!

I ordered nydc beef burger @ $17.95. It was a big portion. Nevertheless, I was able to finish it all by myself. smile

My mum ordered roasted fillet of cream dory @ $16.50. Mum finds that the portion is quite small, but finds it tasty (however, at the end of her meal, she was already full...i guess she was being greedy...heh).

Overall my mum and I enjoyed having our meals here. Not only the food is good, their service is also excellent. Highly recommended! *Clap Clap*

My BFF and I decided to try out this place at Northpoint (Yishun).
We always passed this restaurant but never went in to try out....until now. =)
The atmosphere and the interior of the restaurant.

Have a tough time deciding what to order...we were tempted to order all of it. tongue

In the end, my BFF ordered this set.
Wafu Kyoto Shoyo Ramen Yakimeshi Set. A Kyoto-style shoyu noodles, fried rice, and chawanmushi.
(Fried rice was only served later and did not take any photo of it)

Ordered Nira Gyoza....a pan fried dumping. It was delicious!

I ordered Tonkotsu Soyu Ramen Char Siew Don Set.
A Kyoto-style shoyu tonkotsu noodles, crabmeat and mushroom omelette rice bowl and salad.
(I love the omelette rice...the omelette was well fried.....
and the sauce on top makes it even more delicious)

Enjoyed our meal there....although it was kinder pricey for us.
We will defiantly go back again for our second round. =)
