My friends and I had lunch at Foodfare after exam. I decided to buy food from the braised duck stall, since I was bored with the other stalls. I opted for their braised duck rice. At the price of only $3.80, I got a plate of rice, braised duck,  beancurd, half egg, and a bowl of soup. The portion was quite big and it was fufilling. The duck was a bit boney, but the amount of duck meat given was generous. I like the gravy, it was thick and tasty. Overall, I was satisfied with my lunch.

This frozen yogurt stall is located within the food court area. You can make your own yogurt here, and you will pay based on the weight. There are 4 yogurt machines with 8 flavors (cmiiw), such as plain, green tea, banana, chocolate, pomegranate, etc. Choices of wet and dry topping are also available. There was only one staff that time, she was very nice, friendly and welcoming with smile.I tried to mix all flavors here and topped it with strawberry, mango, kiwi, fruity pebbles, gummy bears, nata de coco and muesli. The yogurt was not bad, it's soft and the sourness was just right. I love their green tea flavor, it's rich but not too bitter. The gummy bears were hard to chew though. Variety of toppings can be improved, and they should have mochi (my favorite topping) there hahaha. Spent around $11 for this medium cup, quite pricey but worth it.

Went to Coffee Kaki after school to have some light snacks. It was packed, mostly with office workers, since I went there during peak hours.
Iced Tea with Caramel Jelly. The tea tasted like roasted tea, but somehow there was a strange taste in it. I like the caramel jelly, although it's more like grass jelly rather than caramel jelly. The amount given was generous as well.
Kaya Butter Toast. This was the highlight of my visit. Crispy toast with kaya spread and melted butter was simply awesome. That sensation when the butter and kaya melted together in your mouth was just unforgetable.
Mee Siam. I don't know much about local food. It's a dish made from rice vermicelli, beancurd, beansprouts and boiled egg in spicy broth that looks like laksa broth. It tasted a bit sour. Didn't really like this hehe.

Overall, will come back for the kaya toast only haha. The price is affordable too! I spent less than $10 for the 3 menus listed above.

It was my second time visiting Maccha House, because ever since my first visit, I've been craving for their matcha treats quite often.My friend ordered Matcha Mixed Soft Serve, which was served on a waffle cone. It's a mix between matcha and vanilla soft serve, therefore the bitterness of matcha went along well with the sweetness of vanilla. The ice cream was soft and creamy.For myself, I ordered a glass of Matcha Latte Float (regular size). It came with a scoop of ice cream (they use typical ice cream, not soft-serve one). Tasted really nice, neither overly sweet nor bitter. I wish they could put less ice cubes into the drink hehe.

Overall, we had an enjoyable time at Maccha House. I forget how much is the exact price, but my latte should be around $5, and the soft-serve ice cream is around $4.

I was at Citysquare Mall to catch B.A.P fanmeeting. Before the event began, I had my dinner at Food Republic. I felt like eating Korean food since I would see Kpop group that time hehe . The place was so packed, even some B.A.P fans were crowding the place and they settled their own spot (which was still in the Food Republic area) to see the fanmeeting.

 

Tender Beef Rice - $4.30. The beef was so tender, well-seasoned and it tasted like a mix between Japanese beef teriyaki and Korean bulgogi. Came with sesame seeds, which added a popping sensation in your mouth while eating it. Portion wise, it was generous though. For $4, I think it's worth it for nice Korean food.
