Strawberry Shortcake Smile Jun 22, 2014

I brought home a slice of cake from Four Leaves after school. Beside cakes, they also sell various bread at affordable price.

Strawberry Shortcake - $3.50. Vanilla sponge cake layered with strawberry slices and cream. It was not really sweet, just suits my preference. However, the strawberries were thinly sliced, I couldn't really taste the sourness of strawberries, if only that one on top of the cake didn't exist. Price is reasonably, merely $3.50 for a medium slice of cake.

I bought snacks at Old Chang Kee to eat on my way to Pasir Ris Park. I bought 2 kinds of snack.

Fish Fillet on Stik - $1.60. I love their fish fillet. The flesh was soft and not fishy. Moreover, it was served hot, so the outer part was still crispy.

Cheezy Chicken Sausage on Stik - $1.50.
4 pieces of mini chicken sausage on stick. There's melted cheese inside the sausage. When you bite, the cheese will ooze out. Super like!

Overall, Old Chang Kee never goes wrong for me. Decent snacks sold at affordable price.

I bought a bread from BreadTalk to accompany my study session at home. Thankfully there was no queue at the cashier, because it was already late at night and I needed to rush a bit.

Choco Croissant - $1.70. This bread was very soft with chocolate coating, almond flakes and dusted sugar. It was so yummy that I could finish at the speed of lightning hehe. For the price, I think it's a bit steep for a not-so-big-sized bread. But I don't really mind because it tasted so good.

Hello Kittyyyy OK Jun 22, 2014

My younger cousin was attracted with Hello Kitty donut that was displayed, therefore I bought 2 Hello Kitty donuts for me and her.

Kitty in White - $1.50. This Hello Kitty shaped donut look cute, isn't it? Basically it's a plain donut with white chocolate glazing, a little chocolate sauce and rainbow sprinkles. The dough was soft and the sweetness was just right. However, my cousin only ate it for a bite only, then she left it overnight huffy. The next day the donut became very hard and not edible sad. What a waste.

Piping Hot! Smile Jun 22, 2014

Cheese Ball - $1.80. 5 pcs of potato ball with a hint of cheese, drizzled with cheese sauce. I love this snack, it's so cheesy, suitable for cheese lover like me. The ball size was quite big, and the potato inside was soft. However, my friend and I had a bad experience eating this snack. When we bought it, it was not freshly-made, but still in hot condition. Knowing it was hot, we had blown it several times before it entered our mouths. And...it's still HOT! The filling was piping out and burnt every part of our mouths. I felt like eating fire! I couldn't taste anything but hotness. Pity my friend, she had her gums swollen for a few days hereafter. She swore not to eat cheese balls again lol. For me, despite this bad experience, I will still come back for more fried stuffs haha.
