I patronize this cafe few times and never get bored, because they have the best waffle ever (imho).Hot Chocolate - $5.20. See the layer? It's visually pretty. It's a bit foamy, and so chocolatey. A warming and delicious drink, although is tad pricey.Pasta Carbonara - $10.90. A simple carbonara-based spaghetti with smoked beef slices and mushroom. Portion wise, quite fulfilling. Tasted just average though.Oreo Cheesecake - $5.60. This cheesecake was very cheesy and ended up a bit sickening. Not in my recommendation list.Waffle a la Mode Treat (Regular) with Cookie Dough Ice Cream - $11.60. I repeat, Gelare does have the best waffle ever! Their waffle was fluffy, fragrant, and not overly sweet. However, for the cookie dough, it's not cookie enough for me, hehe. It's more like vanilla flavor.Waffle a la Mode Treat (Half) with Choc Choc Chunk Ice Cream - $8.80. With addition of chocolate sauce, making this waffle more delicious. The triple C ice cream was very rich in chocolate, nice combination to eat with the waffle.Waffle Tutti Frutti a la Mode Treat (Regular) with Choc Choc Chunk Ice Cream - $12.60. Waffle with sliced strawberries & peaches. The fruits were freshly served. It was perfect to eat sour fruits together with sweet chocolate ice cream and warm waffle.

Overall, I enjoyed Gelare's waffle so much. Although it costs a bit pricier than other waffle parlour, it's really worth every single penny.

Garlic Chicken - $4.50. I take away their large fried chicken, this time I opted for garlic seasoning. Their fried chicken was really large, until I had to divide my eating session into some parts haha. The only thing I dislike from Hot Star is that their chicken is not boneless. In fact, I found some cartilage inside the chicken. Nevertheless, the chicken overall was enjoyable. It was crispy, juicy, and the garlic seasoning was strong.

This ice cream cafe is located just nearby my school, can be reached by short walk only. It was very shiok to eat ice cream on a hot day, after the tiring schooltime.

Ice Cream Chefs offers various selection of ice cream flavor. All of the flavors are so unique and we got confused in deciding which flavor should we have. Kindly ask the staffs for ice cream sample, to give you enlightenment .My friend chose Peach Sorbet flavored ice cream on a waffle cone, and mixed it with malteser balls. It costs $1 for every topping you choose to mix with your ice cream. The staff will scoop out the ice cream, and mix it with the additional topping on a cold marble slab.For me, I chose Horlick flavor and mixed it with Timtam. Yummy, I always love Horlick. The Horlick flavor was strong, and it combined nicely with the crunchy Timtam wafer. However, the ice cream melt so fast when I was taking picture of it, even before I tried a spoonful (you can see from my photo).

Will be back to try more ice cream flavors from Ice Cream Chefs.

KFC is probably the fast food joint that I frequent the most. At least once a week, I always buy something at KFC. Moreover, they have student meal, which is quite value for money, starts from $5.Snackers (Popcorn Chicken) - $4. Bite-sized chicken with crispy coating. This popcorn chicken came with french fries underneath and regular drink. There's nothing special, I felt like eating those kind of frozen popcorn chicken. But good for snacking though.Egg Tart - $1. This egg tart is such a little piece of heaven. Smooth, creamy custard with crispy flaky pastry...just irresistible. With only $1, the pleasure is all yours!

I often buy takeaway meal from Dongdaemun after school, whether it snacks or rice. This time, I bought their Bulgogi Chicken Rice Set - $4.60. It was nice, the chicken was generous. I love their bulgogi sauce, it blends well with the chicken. Even though it's not warm already, it's still enjoyable. For $4.60, I think it's quite affordable for such yummy meal and big portion.
